My First love regarding email marketing tools

Pros: I fell in love with Getresponse because of its simplicity and innovation, when you talk about email marketing you cannot the list won't be complete without Getresponse.

Pretty simple and straight forward to use, loads of email and landing page templates to choose from.

Deliverabilty is good too, they just keep getting better day by day.

I now recommend it to all my clients without fears.

Getresponse has proven to be a leader in the industry and I'm happy to be part of it.

SIDE NOTE: I recently received my affiliate commissions, about $58, small but it's free money you know.

What more can I say? See for yourself.

Cons: Price is good, deliverabilty is good too, the only thing I want them to look into is to review accounts thoroughly before making decisions to suspend it.

Overall: Helps me manage my email list in a simple way. I just love Getresponse.

The analytics is not great. It's hard to get global open/click rate for all newsletters.

"Easy to use for Basics - Difficult to use for Advanced Digital Marketing"

What do you like best?

Running through most of the basics of creating a simple email, workflow, form, or other basics of email marketing are easy.

What do you dislike?

The challenge of using GetResponse comes with advanced digital marketing techniques like segmentation, special triggers for workflows, reporting, and form integrations (if not wanting to host one of theirs on their site. Google Ads would always say their JS coded form on the site was malicious software, and when we tried to set up some basic Gravity Forms integrations, some of the field types would not import successfully. The GetResponse team seemed less than engaged with trying to resolve the Ads issue, or the import issue from Gravity Forms.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Getting the basics of email marketing covered. Only minor convenience benefits.

"Great Service, Overall Good Experience"

What do you like best?

The account reps at Get Response are a great touch and a surprise in the world of digital marketing tools. It's pretty rare to get a phone call from any of the marketing software companies we contract with and Get Response has touched base several times. That's impressive and a nice "old school" touch that I appreciate.

What do you dislike?

The biggest failure of Get Response is a platform that isn't as user-friendly as some of its competitors. In terms of functionality, it seems to do everything we need it to do, it's dashboard and campaign builder tools are just not as pretty in many cases.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you have the ability to code at all yourself, we highly recommend Get Response. It offers all of the functionality we need at a price that's more reasonable than many of the others out there.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Get Response for drip campaigns, weekly sale newsletters and have experimented with landing pages.

Get Response has been solid for our weekly newsletter list and managing direct call to action type emails to drive revenue to our customer list.

List imports rejected, account deactivated, emails deleted and no refund

Pros: - at first, customer service seemed great

- autoresponders seem amazing

- unfortunately, none of it matters if you can't actually send emails to your customers

Cons: - read overall experience

- unable to email my legitimate customers and interested parties because lists were rejected for unknown reasons.

Overall: We signed with GetResponse at the beginning of the year for a full year, looking for something more robust than what we were previously using. I enjoyed the layout of their autoresponders, and after playing around in the free version, we decided it could be a good fit for us. Signed in January and experienced some problems off the bat (but I'm patient and I understand launching takes some time... no problems). We imported all of our contacts - several thousand - and our lists were rejected. Strange - as these were legitimate contacts from company sources that I had been emailing for years successfully. Imported them in smaller chunks and found more success, until we were told in February that our account was under review for spam behavior. To resolve, we allowed them to 'clean' our lists - legitimately cut from 15k to 6k, and began to use their recommended BriteVerify to clean our lists before adding in the future. Frustrating, time consuming, not ideal... but we had already paid for the year and didn't have the budget to change email services. Their drag and drop editor gave us a lot of grief most days, but besides that - We didn't have any more rejected lists, and no issues I was aware of until this morning, I received an email letting us know our account has been deactivated, we cannot get our email lists or templates back from our accounts, cannot log in, and a refund will not be issued. "Impossible not to have it"

What do you like best?

GR is an essential tool for managing relations with users.

In our company we generate more than 25k leads a month from 5 different sites. With GR we can interact with users automatically with autoresponders, inform users of a specific list about top news, service updates or new services. We can also measure in real time their interest in our content with open rate rates, click rates and clean lists with contacts no longer interested in our service.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes, very rarely, GR freeze and the work created is blocked and lost.

Furthermore GR could create a search function of our images and not have to scroll all the stocks.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The accounts don't speak in Italian and do not use a instant messaging system like Skype o Messenger. Sometimes messaging via email causes delays in replies of up to 12-24 hours.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Managing 600k users is impossible without a complete tool like GR.

Thanks to Zapier every single data is transferred to the GR via API and with the autoresponders each individual user receives a message for each specific service.

"Perfect for mid-sized businesses & outstanding customer support "

What do you like best?

The customer support is by far the best I've received for a marketing SAAS product. I fire off a lot of questions to my account manager and nothing is too much trouble and the response time is good. They've really helped us refine our automation over the past year.

What do you dislike?

While it may lack the feature-rich triggers and the detailed workflows of a Marketo or Pardot, for a medium-sized business, with a product like ours, it's more than enough to get the job done. The biggest dislike is the unique ID per customer, per campaign (as opposed to a unique ID based on email) - which makes funnel management a little more challenging. But GR have been helpful in solving this issue for us.

Through refining our campaign structure and workflows, we've been able to add additional lead flows and the platform has been able to handle our sizable increase in volume over the past 6 months.

"Easy to use reliable hassle free software solution"

What do you like best?

very good online email management tool, with great reporting capabilities. the online solution is backed up with great personal technical support. Easy to create and maintain list. Creating responsive emails is a fast and easy process!

What do you dislike?

The only downside is the mandatory sender address, so the system is less easy to use when sending out mailings from different country operations with a different sender address. Hope this will be solved, so we can email with the correct legal entity address.

Talk about CRM integration.

What do you like best?

A detailed report of our activities and usage along with some very important feedback that I get from this team is just an amazing thing and timely report on our product usage is also very crucial to look out for, I am overwhelmed from the response and follow up's I get from Natasza really adds on to this.

What do you dislike?

A lot of times we do get error messages while uploading a new set of names and not having a physical representation of a person to give us more details on GetResponse is at times frustrating.
