If you require a secure, easy-to-use and professionally designed platform to increase your online sales, Shopify is the solution.
In my experience with multi-platform ecommerces, investing in professional tools usually results in savings in time, money and resources so I think Shopify is a great alternative to having an online store with maximum professional guarantees.
If you have a small budget and are looking for a free platform, Shopify will serve low-budget businesses, as Shopify requires that a good monthly sum of money be allocated to a single platform.
If you are starting a new online business or if you already have a physical store and want to bring it into the online world, Shopify is one of the best and easiest e-commerce platforms you can use.
We recommend you try the free 14-day version to see how you're doing and see if it's what you're really looking for.
Shopify has allowed me to open virtual stores to my clients who own small and medium businesses or online sales stores, so that they can manage it themselves and follow it up daily so they can take care of and protect their interests, where my role is relegated only to technical advice and solving problems or doubts.
What I love about Shopify is how easy it is to set up your own online store even if you’ve never done it before and have no experience in building a website.
The downside to Shopify is that it’s very hard to truly customize your own online store unless you get the most expensive plan which is quite pricey.
It’s so easy to track and fulfill orders trough Shopify.
Shopify is a tool that stands out in many of its services. I like the quality service that it offers. Among all, it is worth to mention its telephone assistance and technical support. Its support team does an outstanding job, it is always available and it provides the best service.
The only thing that I do not like is the response time after reporting an issue via email. If an urgent problem occurs, it is better to use its telephone assistance.
I recommend it because I have experienced that this provider helps at any time. It always assured the right performance of the store.
When I started to manage the store with Shopify, I had many doubts and issues with the store performance. Its technical support is the best and I have always received wonderful attention.
Shopify has a great telephone assistance team and technical support. We love that every time a problem occurs, they solve it in a very short time. Another advantage is the variety of channels they provide to contact them, such as: e-mail, a telephone number, and social media like Twitter and Facebook.
The only thing we do not like about Shopify is that its telephone assistance is only available in English.
We recommend it with all confidence to those who decide to work with this platform.
Its support team has solved problems related to the store performance and even about design. It is a complete platform with a lot of resources that can help a business to take advantage of the competition.
It’s user friendly or a very intuitive based software for associates who work less hours and are less familiar with how the software works. You can usually figure things out pretty easily.
Shopify has so many updates all the time and there are so many glitches when using the POS system. The experiences app is also very flawed. See below answer for more details.
Make sure you are comfortable with the experiences app and it doesn’t screw up your day to day with high strung customers upset that they’ve been over booked.
We used the experience app through Shopify and had many issues throughout my year at candle bar. It overlooked parties and didn’t know how to update when someone rescheduled or received a refund so our business lost out on thousands of dollars of sales because Shopify
Was usually inaccurate and would reflect that way on the website. Benefits are the customer support team is super nice and they try to make things very streamline.
I love how useful is Shopify. It is very comfortable to count on a system that is tough in all its functions. It is a platform that has a wonderful development of its modules and, if it does not have a particular function, it is possible to add it through one of its plugins, this is something I really like.
This platform has just a few details to improve. But in general terms, it is one of the best platforms and I have no complaints.
I recommend this tool because it is very powerful and useful. Shopify will bring positive results to any kind of online store.
The company is very pleased with the cost-effectiveness of this tool. All its benefits have improved the internal procedures, which also allows to add new features to the business.
Very straight forward and easy to use in order to set an online store.
Their policy regarding fraud charges SUCK. Supposedly, CC companies are to respond for fraud charges since it is not the owner or the business fault (and most CC have an insurance or protection for that) but Shopify will anyways take the money out of the store which lead to a lot of losses. On top of that the charge you a dispute fee.
Great for starters, easy to set :)
It is a great online store.
I like Shopify for the most part, because it is very user-friendly but at the same time they are not trying to do everything for you, which allows for that good old DIY feel that we don't want to lose. I appreciate that you can bring in your own sources and figure out where to get your products sourced from and bring them in manually. I love that the websites look and feel very nice when they are finished and that also probably increases the likelihood of making sales when you are really just selling basic products and appealing to people who like to buy stuff. It is also nice that you can have an email subscription option for your customers so that they can receive newsletters and promotional emails from your company that will encourage customers to purchase products on your website. I enjoyed using the free trial period and appreciated that they did not delete all of the work I put in after the free trial was over.
The only thing I dislike about Shopify is that it does not offer the most helpful advertising/marketing assistance, but I suppose that is something I need to work on myself. I wish they had some way of figuring out your marketing based on what you do when you build the website. I would recommend using another platform to figure out your sales and advertising plan if you are going to use Shopify as the platform for selling your product. Also, it is a bit expensive.
I am realizing that I can make money by selling simple products as long as I make the website look nice and corner a niche market. It made me realize that by creating a clean and professional looking website you can gain a wider customer base and therefore make more money.
We switched from Volusion to Shopify and it was one of the best decisions our company made. Shopify has a lot of templates to choose from to build your site plus it provides great analytics. It also allows you to send automated emails right from the Shopify platform. Shopify is also very intuitive so if you don’t know how to do something, you can usually figure it out or visit their help boards
I wish some of the analytics were a little more in-depth.
We are solving the ease of use and ease of integration to other platforms.
very easy to set up, minimal coding knowledge required, no google errors or coding issues using shopify theme templates. UPS shipping option
support got worse & worse over time. shopify implemented a major change/upgrade to backend during holiday season that ended with my site not allowing customers to make purchases
Try out woocommerce even if you are new to site design. Plug-ins simplify woocommerce to comparable levels
more issues than benefits. not worth the cost compared to woocommerce and other competitors
