What do you like best?

Vtiger CRM is great. I've used it since version 6.3. It is an ever changing system where they keep adding lots of new features, you get add-ons for needed customizations and more.

What do you dislike?

The user forum kind of sucks. There are some weird things that require you to have an IT guy or be savvy yourself that I think could be made more accessible to novice type users. For example, adding new fields to a drop-down menu that also trigger some type of events like marking a task as completed or done" rather than relying on a lot of default values. I actually like the older version (6.5) a lot more than the V7+. Their new fancy interface I find is just buggy and overly complex. Its like they tried to reorganize to simply, but it was simpler before.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would plan on thinking through the CRM workflow you want and then checking that it can accommodate it. Its likely it can, but its the default options that often get in the way and are a bigger nuisance than necessary. Vtiger is flexible to accommodate different setups, like Contacts only module or Lead and Contacts Module. It seems its more geared towards manufacturing/retail types so I had a bit of difficulty setting it up how I wanted for software sales, funny enough.

Mainly just lead and contact information and activity logging. Market segmentation. Customer experience management.

What do you like best?

The pack of features that includes. So many features in the all in one edition

What do you dislike?

The lack of responsiveness in all web browsers. Especially in safari it was some minor bugs and the lack of a good iOS apps

What do you like best?

I really enjoy that we have our marketing, sales and support all in one CRM. It makes it so much easier than utilizing 3 different software apps.

What do you dislike?

We get errors when we upload new contacts and it doesn't always say what the error is. It might say it imported 80 contacts and 20 have errors but what are they? So we just upload the contacts again and usually that'll fix it. Overall, we really haven't had any big bad issues with it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

My advice is to give Vtiger a try if you haven't already. It not only gave us an all in one solution but ended up saving us money as well. It's really easy to use and lots of customization. If you plan on marketing to your customers, providing support for your existing clients and creating new sales opportunities then this is the software to use.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Keeping engaged with the customer by seeing everything we've done with them such as support tickets, email marketing and what opportunities have been created. We also use it to keep track of the products they've purchased so when it's time to renew warranties, we have an automated message notify us.

What do you like best?

I like that everything is under the one platform.

What do you dislike?

That it can be hard to use to start with for people that are not computer literate.

What do you like best?

Vtiger helps the company to have a place where all important information can be integrated. From Sales to Human Resources, employees can find a variaty of tools and options to work with, so the information can be reached by all levels within the company. The fact that you can find and create templates for internal communications, options to disclose information of our employees, customers and partners, and that it can be adapted to the company's needs regarding a software is always a plus.

What do you dislike?

I have not find anything I would dislike as of yet.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try to adapt Vtiger to what the company needs. Vtiger offers a way to keep all internal communications integrated in one place. This way the information is available, and can be kept track of it. Plus, it can help you store reports of sales, employees productivity and customer services feedback or commentaries. It can also helps you keep track of changes made by users regarding a particular process.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Since I work for Human Talent, we have used Vtiger for interviews results. We have created a system where all areas that participate in the recruitment of new employees can access the information, and also they can modify it according to their findings during their interviews. Also, for our sales and customer service team, the fact that they can easily find all the information of our clients and customers and also they can see updates made by their peers regarding the sales, are important features that facilitates communication and the management keep track of the productivity of the team.

What do you like best?

I can organize and remodel different stages of the sales cycle. It's been easy to also collaborate with other team members and clients as well.

What do you dislike?

Some of the navigation in finding reporting was a bit difficult at times. Some times trying to find where to put data into the system became frustrating.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Other than making the site a little bit more user-friendly with nontechnical people. I am looking to start my own business and use VTiger CRM and while I know that there are visual aids, could you try more video aids to help with installation and any other common problems that are run into with the software.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Being able to communicate with our customer base so much easier. And once we got the learning curve down in using the software the benefits were amazing in building our customer relations and marketing campaigns.

What do you like best?

What we like the best is that we have all the information from all the areas of our company connected thanks to this user friendly software. From the first call to a prospect to the mailing of invoices we can register all the steps of the sales process and every member of each department can have access to that info.

What do you dislike?

When you start customizing the tool to your needs and preferences you get a little bit addicted to the possibilities you have and sometimes you go further and think of areas you would like to change and then you realize it is not possible since Vtiger is not that complex. However we haven't faced a key need which hasn't been fulfilled. We create quotes with Vtiger and we also generate invoices with the specific module. We would like to have an integration with the Spanish official invoicing systems in order to issue valid electronic invoices and send them to our customers by email.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Vtiger is very useful for our daily needs and it also makes it easier for our auditors when they have to collect specific data from our administration and sales processes. It is very visual and they can see account names, dates, quotes, files... at a glance. Another area that is key for us is the one we use for our Technical Department. We are a Support Center and the employees in this department create service contracts with our customers, and open tickets in order to solve every request we receive. Reports and reminders are also fantastic tools both for the sales department and the support department. We use the Marketing features more and more in order to create lead generation campaigns. It is very useful to get info about how many contacts open an email, how many of them click on the links, etc. It is a pretty user friendly software and once you are familiarized with the module configuration area it is easy to create new connections, modules, fields etc. We really like the level of customization we can have thanks to the configuration features. However, if you are not an expert the Support Team of Vtiger always help you with anything you need, they really do their best to configure all the areas the way you need, it is amazing :)

What do you like best?

I like how seemingly it is to use. Assets are linked to organizations and the organizations linked to individuals. If I have 1 or 3 it's possible to find everything else.

What do you dislike?

There's some bugs we've tried sorting out such as clicking on a link on our emails and if not sending you directly to it if you're not logged in. Other than minor bugs that slow us down the service is great.

Give the service a shot and you won't be disappointed when you see how powerful of a tool it is.

We are able to save customer information such as work orders, bill of ladings, quotes, and technical support all in one service which is great

What do you like best?

VTiger has become the corporate CRM, easy to use already in the first use.

You can access from anywhere, it is cloud based.

We appreciate the possibility to customize the product according to our needs directly via the web without having specific programming or other knowledge.

Reporting is great especially when you can build your own custom metrics to report on.

There is also an app that allows you to solve various problems in cases where a network connectivity is not always present. Technical support is always present at any time helping you solve the problems encountered

What do you dislike?

Currently we have not found any particular difficulty in the use of the adopted modules, Some missing features on marketing module as the ability to manage multiple mailing lists in a single Marketing list

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The sales department is able to keep its customer portfolio active with simplicity and to propose new solutions or opportunities during the bidding process by using the possibility of sending offers directly from VTiger
