No, IXACT Contact does not provide API.
It connects everyone in my data base, organizes and then tracks with easy to read reports. The CRM also manages all of the steps in a real estate transaction right through to completion and then... it reminds you to change the activity plan to continue with follow up after sale! Its ready to use or personalize and create your own plans. Simple.
In the beginning I found it to have too many features (if that is possible!) but once I started to learn the features I became hooked.
Just do it! Ease into it! Learn pieces of it at a time and before long you will be an expert.
Staying in touch, knowing who to contact and when. The reminders are amazing, birthdays and inspection dates. Closings... everything! Just open and get using it, the reminders allow me to stay on top of my business and stay in touch when I should.
I like how I can set up drip email campaigns and also receive reminders on tasks that need to get done. I can also edit the content of the emails. In addition, the newsletter is awesome - full of relevant content. I can also edit the newsletter, adding my own articles if I choose to do so. Another thing I like is that the system can remind me of customer's birthdays and anniversary dates. And I also use the included website for my business. It is easy to customize and looks very professional.
I don't believe there is anything I dislike about IXACT. Someone spent a lot of time designing it who knows how Real Estate clients think. I do wish there was a way to integrate it with social media and pick up leads in a better way.
I recommend you upload all your contacts into it and also set up your website.
Staying in touch with prospective clients in a way that is friendly is one of the things I love. It really keeps me on track with communicating with clients. My clients actually respond to the auto-generated emails the system sends out on my behalf.

I love the compatibility with my Mac. Most contact management systems are Windows based. Also, they provide complete package of features including fresh website designs. The tech support is attentive and have successful in assisting me in a variety of challenges. As an independent contractor working for a smaller brokerage, the IT help is limited. Ixact staff has been very helpful.

Overall, 5 -6 plus years of using Ixact has helped me tremendously and I logging multiple times daily.
Some of the searching components are limited. Specifically, searching for contacts in a specific zip code. I find that feature cumbersome.

The email notification of leads through a variety of sources, especially internet leads. The time it saves of moving leads to my database. The system also provides unique ways of grouping the lead sources.
The software is easy to use with some great capabilities. I have been able to stay in touch with my database automatically without having to worry about myself emailing my clients.
I have not found anything I dislike about Ixact Contact. If I ever have a question, I call and get the answers I need on the spot.

I've been using Ixact Contact since 2014 and it really does have all of the features one could ask for in a real estate CRM. It's thoughtful and easy to use, includes great tools to keep prospects top of mind, and the agent websites available through the platform are nicely done. The customer service is top-notch. I have always found the team to be responsive and helpful.
I wish there was a section that highlighted the most recently added contacts. Trying to remember a new lead after the fact can take time. I would like to see the last 10 or so newly added contacts in their own window. I wish the iOS app was a little more modern and fleshed out. I don't use it much.
If you're looking for an easy to use, full-featured, real estate CRM - this is it. The agent website options, alone, make this a top-notch product.
