"Best Enterprise Marketing Automation Solution"

What do you like best?

What I love about Marketo is scalability. I can easily build templated programs that my marketing team can clone and personalize for their regional audiences. Another win is the Marketo integrations. We sync a very large volume of data between different sources daily and Marketo has proven to be very robust.

What do you dislike?

the current UI but that's about to change

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Marketo is at the heart of our marketing operations and all teams worldwide are using it for all marketing initiatives. With Marketo we align our marketing and sales teams, both at a local and global level. We are able to inform our sales of all campaigns, engagement metrics and lifecycle touchpoints. This is done seamlessly via the Marketo Salesforce integration.

"Best Marketing Automation Software Out There!"

What do you like best?

The ease of this software is incredible. I especially like the reporting features. All is customized to exactly what you want to see. We've used plenty of automation software, and this is by far the best one. The token features are incredible. SO EASY!

What do you dislike?

A few limitations with RSS and auto-population. But overall, I love everything about this software.

It has features that are highly customized and for sales automation as well as great lead management.

Easy to set up and use

Marketo has all the required model available which helps to run any Marketing automation tool in a best way and get the best results eg. Scoring, Lifecycle, RCM, Data Hygiene

Marketo offers custom objects which open the way to use it as B2C as well.

Marketo allows using Velocity Script which makes life easier when it comes to making the email full dynamic

"Simple to use and powerful marketing automation software"

What do you like best?

Marketo is a great platform. Even a newbie can adapt to it within a month. It provides all drag and drop feature and everything is so smart as the name suggests. It has also started using AI and predictive filters for measuring the likelihood of audience attending or registering for an event.

What do you dislike?

Auto-save feature is sometimes scary. And no ways of preventing bad data coming to marketo

I would definitely recommend this platform to everyone who are looking for marketing automation

"Great powerful Marketing Automation Software - just be patient to learn it."

What do you like best?

Very powerful and customizable software - you can pretty much do anything with Marketo. It's the leader in the space for a reason. I'm not locked down or limited with what I can do with my marketing leads. Great integrations and connections with other software, including Salesforce. This is key to any great marketing platform.

What do you dislike?

With great power comes a pretty ugly UI - something that Adobe is working to remedy since they purchased the software a year or two ago. Once you get to know how to run things it works - but the learning curve is higher than something like a HubSpot - something I ran for over 5 yrs previous to switching to Marketo.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We do all our demand/lead gen efforts from Marketo - it can do anything, from sending emails, to lead scoring, nurturing, running lead gen forms & landing pages, and more. Everything is done in Marketo where possible and if not, we can connect it to any other software.

What do you like best?

Marketo is able to track the 360-degree customer behavior. Marketo integrates with your website, your event platform, your survey platforms, your mobile app, and tracks the behavior to allow you to see what your customers/prospects are up to and let you target the customer with more personalized content in real-time. The Marketo's engagement engine is really promising and no other MA tool can match what we can do with that and the level of reporting it provides.

What do you dislike?

Marketo is a fantastic engagement platform. I would just say that so far, I have no issues with it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have been using Marketo from the last 8 years and I can say there are countless benefits you can get out of Marketo. totally depends on how well you have implemented it. A few top benefits that everyone can get out of this powerful system are:

1. Tracking, as mentioned above, you can track the user's 360-degree behavior top analyse what they are up to.

2. Using Marketo's most powerful engagement engine, you can not only personalize the Marketo emails based on the demographic attributes but you can also use the behavioral data to personalize the email experience.

3. You can personalize the website experience in real-time using Marketo's AI-powered web-content and web-personalization

4. You can acquire new prospects using web-forms, nurture those using engagement programs, and manage the whole lead life cycle through Marketo's powerful "Revenue Cycle Modeler"

5. Ease your sales and Marketing alignment by defining lead scoring models and lead life cycle models. Easy to implement, easy to adjust according to the sales feedback.

"The Experience has been simply amazing. I have been using Marketo day in and day out now."

What do you like best?

The one thing I like about Marketo is its versatility - Manage your leads, build out scoring models,Build out Reports, Analyse your spends on Marketing Activities, Integrate your CRM to build a closed loop reporting and carrying out Marketing Activities well planed and in proper manner you can see the increased ROI very clearly and very soon, Rich Marketo API helps integrate the Marketo with all the variety of other platforms very easily. Also the community suport is awesome!

What do you dislike?

The only downside of marketo IMHO is a bit more subscription cost, but it well balances out with the features and support it does provide the subscription.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Simply go for it, it is a best Marketing platform out there to carry out your Marketing activities, it provides a lot of features and I cannot recommend it more!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Lead Management - Manage all your marketing leads at one place in the lead database

Revenue Cycle Analysis - See how your leads are moving through various marketing-sales stages, determine velocity of leads etc. This really helps in gauging the effectiveness of the Marketing Activities

Along with normal Email Send Programs I heavily use the engagement programs for nurturing the leads who are MQL so that high ratio of conversion is reflected.

RCE for audit purposes

Marketo API for integrating with an E-Commerce based platform to send out Order confirmation, updates, account management transactional emails from marketo.

What do you like best?

Flexibility, scalability, and the general structure of "Smart Campaigns" at the heart of the Marketo platform.

What do you dislike?

Things like naming conventions folder structures need to be managed by users.

Absolutely do your due diligence to define and document things like naming conventions, how campaigns and programs will be stored, and your campaign approval processes. Starting from a strong foundation of best practices to organize your instance well from the start will pay itself back in dividends over time.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Lead lifecycle management, sales marketing alignment, email marketing, personalization. Platform gives marketers the ability to measure and understand how meaningful their campaigns are as it relates to revenue and campaign cost.
