"It is a great use to communicate with remote teams"

What do you like best?

It is the old-time pinboards and written memos but in a good, modern way. It makes it very easy to have the information the team needs and to have relevant docs attached as well. Also, it is great for updates on procedures and standards for projects.

What do you dislike?

It could be more straightforward. It took me a couple of weeks to get the full hang of it and be able to make the most of it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If your company doesn't provide training in it, make sure you read or watch a tutorial about it. It isn't difficult, but it is not as straightforward as expected either.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There were so many updates and changes going on at the start of covid, and it was hard to keep track of all the emails, and of what changed in each project. With basecamp, my supervisor was able to in all the updates and procedures from each project and made it easier to visualize and to consult them during the shifts.

"The best Online HUB to work collaborative in a team."

What do you like best?

The Basecamp is an Online Collaborative Hub to work with a huge team and managing projects, resources at a standalone platform. The clean & simple interface of Basecamp gives it an attractive look.

There are different sections where all the stuff for the project can be managed easily like; Campfire - for conversation between team members, Docs & files - to access all the required resources, To-do - to assign the task to each member and set the deadline, and many more amazing features are available for the ease of usage for any organization.

Thus, these all features increase the popularity of basecamp over another platform.

What do you dislike?

Till now, I didn't see any disliking feature. It seems to be very affordable and a stable platform for working with a team Online.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This amazing platform is used by me for working on a project with my team. While using this platform, it benefits us a lot because of a standalone platform for all our multiple usages like Conversation, access to a resource, meetings between clients, task distribution, etc

So, overall it is the best platform.

"A joy to use for collaboration work and work chats"

What do you like best?

I'd say that the design of Basecamp, which is fun and lively, makes it enjoyable to use and also more effective. There are several ways for us to communicate, but Basecamp keeps it simple so that we stick to the main features, which seem to be group posts, and then expands on that to make the overall experience easier.

What do you dislike?

I think that if there were more plugins or extensions available, that could make Basecamp better. In general though, Basecamp gives me all of the features that are needed.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I think if you use Basecamp, you should try to use all of the team management tools in it as much as possible. Bringing in other software can make things more confusing for some team members.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Basecamp helps us to distribute information among our team in a more intuitive way compared to other ways like sending emails and making calls. We can track the progress of various client work and communicate as a group or individually within one online environment.

"Excellent All-in-One Solution"

What do you like best?

One of the most useful aspects of Basecamp is its ability to combine everything into one platform. No more searching through Google Drive, Slack, Email, and other platforms for things. You can upload and organize files, tasks, messages, and more in Basecamp.

What do you dislike?

When I was most actively using Basecamp, there were some issues with connectivity. When Basecamp was down, our team needed to default to other platforms that were less organized. The downtimes weren't often enough to warrant a change in platform use though.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Basecamp is amazing for task tracking and the ability to show proof of completion. When a task is finalized an employee can upload their finalized documents, images, or other files to Basecamp for safe-keeping. This is easy to view when it comes to confirming a task's completion.

"Task Management System"

What do you like best?

very simple interface and features this application has.

What do you dislike?

Cost is a bit higher than some of the other free solutions that could do almost the same thing. However, Basecamp provides more integration.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Keeping track of various projects and tasks from different departments here in the company. Makes it very simple to take a quick glance to see what resources are being utilized.

What do you like best?

I like how user friendly Basecamp is. It has a fun atmosphere. Great for a small group of people on your team, but for many projects.

I don’t like how the due dates are set up. It would be nice if they were set up more clearly.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Solving most of my project management problems. It’s great for posting a lot of content and documents. Great place to store things for future reference as well.

"Communication between colleagues to increase team productivity"

What do you like best?

Basecamp is being used for the management of all the projects of our company, it has allowed us to organize our work groups and to delegate tasks properly among its members, at the same time we have liked how it allows us to follow the progress of the teams without having to meet always, hosting the documentation in the same environment.

What do you dislike?

I haven't disliked anything using Basecamp so far, but I would like it to handle some search parameters within projects for pending tasks, it would make it a little easier to find comments and tasks.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely for any organization that wants to keep a fluid and organized communication, Basecamp is one of the best options, everything inside Basecamp is easy to find and read, simply a wonderful work tool.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Basecamp has helped us to solve many of our communication problems and has allowed us to keep track of the progress of our projects. This has helped us to complete the tasks in the time we had planned, speeding up the response time and the fulfillment of the goals set by the organization.

"Basecamp is BEST"

What do you like best?

I love the way Basecamp is made for projects. It's intuitive and organized for workgroups to manage workflow between teams.

I love the docs + file section, the ease of integration with Dropbox and Google Docs as well.

I have used Asana, Trello, and Mondays - but overall, Basecamp works best for our team because we don't often have the same project twice, and our team works varied hours across the country. The difference in working hours is important because it's really simple to follow a comment thread or find documents to support your work instead of bugging someone who is "off the clock".

What do you dislike?

There are only a few things I don't like about Basecamp - one is the multi-step process in adding someone new to a project. If I am in a task and want to add someone, but they aren't on the project, I have to go back a few pages and refresh.

The other is the inability to assign a task to several people with their own checkboxes. Often when I assign it to more than one person, when one is done with the task, they will check it off for everybody.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's the best.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Trying to get our work flow out of our email and in to a place where things aren't lost.
