Great basic system for tracking time, invoices and payments. Been using it as a sole trader for about 8 years and it has been great for me. I do only use it in a basic way and feel it offers me great value for money especially as it ensures my invoices are up to date and sent out etc.
I have not found the feature setup updated significantly whilst using it but as it does what I want that is not an issue for me. Support team have been good, though I have not needed to contact them for a couple of years.
My invoices are easy to send out and track payments against them etc. There is also the option to setup regular invoices and either sent them automatically or have them ready for you to approve at the time they need to be sent out.
Reporting is helpful and enables me to complete my basic tax reporting each year.
If you manage teams of people then it is easy to setup different rates for them and sub sets of projects with budgets too that can issue alerts when time requirements are over the agreed budget.
Overall I have been happy with Harvest as a solution to help with my simple business management needs (time tracking and invoicing). The mobile app is also good for adding time on the fly when out at meetings. I also get a daily email at the end of the day to remind me to add my hours for that day which is also handy.
So, certainly worth giving it a try if you have a small business and want to manage your time, hours and invoicing requests with your client base. What more can I say, simple effective and useful.
