"Big Bang for the Buck"

What do you like best?

SharpSpring has is very feature rich for the price. It combines CRM, Marketing Automation, Social Media and Email Marketing into one platform. As a small business, we were looking for an all-in-one solution that was easy to implement and affordable. The features we like the best are form integration with the website, marketing automation workflows, the sales pipeline, "life of the lead" tracking, and visitor ID activity (seeing what companies visit your website).

What do you dislike?

I wish the email templates were easier to work with. They have nice "designer" templates that you can use off-the-shelf, but they don't render nicely across all email clients, so they need to be tweaked by someone who understands and can work with the HTML code. I wish the templates were more like that of a Mailchimp, for example, where there were more features for controlling layout and everything was optimized for all email clients across device types. The other thing I wish SharpSpring had was the ability to go back and see lifetime activity on visitor IDs. It only keeps record of the last 30 days. We found a workaround for this, but it would be nice to be able to pull this information out of the system.

Make sure you can get adoption across your organization to get the most out of your investment.

Sharpspring has been an integral part of our inbound marketing success, automating the process of capturing and nurturing inbound leads. We're also able to identify leads early and better prioritize our outbound sales outreach to target companies who have already expressed interest by visiting the website. In addition, we have better visibility into our overall pipeline, the stages of each deal, and total pipeline value. We can set up campaigns and track ROI on digital marketing efforts. It also helps us stay organized company-wide on what's going on with accounts and opportunities.

Any issue I have ever had, their support is there to have my back. Can't say I love them enough.

Sometimes things can get complicated, but they are always there to help.

"SharpSpring is a phenomenal marketing automation platform. "

What do you like best?

SharpSpring is a sleek system that offers outstanding tools for marketing automation. We researched a lot of platforms ranging from free to $1000s before going with SharpSpring. They have just the right amount of features that makes it the most useful for all of our clients, leaving off the bells and whistles that would inflate the price.

Their interface is top-tier which makes using their system a breeze. The dashboard gives you a comprehensive look at everything you’re running. Moving around the system is super simple and they make it easy to jump to different areas when you’re building a sales program. I’d urge you to check out all the features on their website because there are too many to list, but I can say that what they have offered us is unbelievably comprehensive.

We’ve also taken full advantage of their support which is outstanding. They have always been knowledgable and very friendly. Moreover, they won’t let you off the phone until they are sure that the problem has been resolved! They also offer FREE continuing education programs like webinars to help make you more proficient at their program.

SharpSpring is a superior marketing automation platform, with a very intuitive interface and offer the kind of support we have rarely seen in tech companies. They have worked harder to earn and keep our business than any other vendor we've ever worked with. You would do yourself a giant favor to give their system a test drive.

What do you dislike?

I was not prepared for the steep learning curve that is required to take full advantage of this platform. I was a bit discouraged at first by everything there was to learn but I realized it’s part of working with such a comprehensive platform. It’s like moving to a new town and trying to figure out all the roads and highways. I don’t know if that’s really a “con” but it is something you must be aware of. You’re going to need to spend some serious time learning it but once you do, navigating the system easily becomes second nature.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

SharpSpring is a superior marketing automation platform, with a very intuitive interface and offer the kind of support we have rarely seen in tech companies. They have worked harder to earn and keep our business than any other vendor we've ever worked with. You would do yourself a giant favor to give their system a test drive.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

SharpSpring allows me to do unlimited testing and very quickly assess the results of my efforts in multiple ways. I cannot stress "multiple ways" enough. If you're using MailChimp you get to assess your results from an email campaign. If you're running Google analytics you get to assess your results from an engagement perspective, etc. With SharpSpring ALL of your efforts register on your dashboard and you can evaluate them comprehensively. We weren't a super-analytics driven agency before SS but the platform has allowed us to drive our efforts in a much more focused direction. And BTW, our clients LOVE it!

"Marketing agency using SharpSpring for 4+ years"

What do you like best?

They really value their Partners. The software is best utilized with agencies like us, who manage it for our clients. The features are built around that and they're very responsive to partner requests.

What do you dislike?

They have grown a lot and have really transformed the software, but sometimes need to focus on improving existing features instead of launching new ones.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do your due diligence - it's not for everyone. But if you're a small to mid-sized marketing agency looking to use it internally and as an option for clients, it's great. We chose this one over HubSpot, Act-on and Pardot when we were looking to make the switch from Marketo.

We're able to dive in deeper with our marketing. To be able to trigger marketing campaigns based on behavior or see our clients interactions with our marketing and website allows us to better guide those individual conversations with clients and prospects.

"SharpSpring is like having a marketing toy box full of tools "

What do you like best?

SharpSpring has allowed us to automate so many processes that we've recouped almost 20 hours of manual labor each week, plus we've eliminated human errors, leads don't slip through the cracks, and there's an uptick in email engagement.

What do you dislike?

We've had some issues with the email editor acting a little buggy, but the customer support team has always been able to straighten out any trouble with a simple phone call.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We automate our sales workflows via email with drip campaigns rather than setting manual reminders to send out manual emails. If SharpSpring only did that, we'd more than make our money back for what we pay... but on top of that we get visitor tracking, customer lead scores, lead tracking, dynamic content depending on who's viewing, custom forms with custom fields, landing pages, social posting... the list just goes on and on.

"SharpSpring Provides a Great Insight"

What do you like best?

The ease of use of using SharpSpring is fantastic and surpasses other tools I have used in the past that can feel quite clunky and outdated. The snapshot and quick insight it gives you is fantastic.

What do you dislike?

Nothing at all so far - I think it does exactly what it says it does. There was an issue with a couple of bugs, however these were fixed immediately and so I cannot fault them.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you spot any bugs then be sure to let SharpSpring know - they are incredibly quick at fixing and resolving these.

It solves the problem of knowing what to prioritise from a prospecting perspective and giving you a real time insight of how your potential customers are interacting with you.

What do you like best?

How easy it is to create content and smart e mail feature. Also being able to keep track of leads. Also the ability to create a sales and opportunity reports easily. Sharpspring is also easily integrated with other apps so it makes the job easier. Drip campaigns and landing pages can also be created inside it. You basically e liminate the need to have other 10 apps because Shaprspring incorporates all that in one.

What do you dislike?

That Jr Sales people cannot have access to Marketing. There are some reports like contact and call reports that are not a feature currently offered by sharpspring. Also there is no ability to add secondary e-mails to the contacts. The mobile feature of Sharpspring could also be a little more user friendly and incude more functions like the ability to have a calendar and send smart e mail. So that the user can use his or her phone to send smart e mails on the go without having to be in the computer.

I would definately recoment sharpspring ifyou need marketing and sales in one system.

Consolidating all contacts and leads in one place. being able to use drip campaigns and track them within the system has also been very useful . It is also useful to be able to see the communication that goes between the sales people and their leads.

"Marketing Automation accessibly priced"

What do you like best?

Their email marketing platform and automation is easy to use once you get the hang of it and has seemingly endless opportunities for creativity.

What do you dislike?

Learning curve for new users can be a bit stiff and the platform could be a bit more intuitive.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's a great platform. Make sure you wait to sign up for Sharp Spring for when you and your team are able to devout a good bit of time learning the platform. We made the mistake of signing up a bit too early and missed out on some of the one-on-one training opportunities only available for the first 90 days. In Hindsight, we would have waited a few more months to sign up to have the ability to take better advantage of this onboarding period of time.
