I tried Freshsales for almost a year and experienced several incidents with data disappearing or data being changed. The program is nice but it simply isn't what I want. I stopped using the software a few months before my annual subscription expired and did not want to renew it. Freshworks (parent company) renewed my subscription to the tune of $300 on May 26 and as of today have not replied any of my four inquiries. I am really getting angry about this!
If you customers don't speak english forget about using this CRM as you cannot create a fully internationalized experience for your customers and Freshsales literally don't care. After subscribing as a lead to the CRM there is a ugly non customizable page that customers arrive on which says you subscribed successfully in english and this cannot be changed or styled. When you talk to support they claim this is not a problem and that it is not a priority apparently because not enough customers have requested the change (obviously they have more english speaking customers than non english speaking hence there will never be enough requests to make it a prio over english speaking customers requests). They cannot even say when they will fix this issue, not even say within a year, they literally told us it is not on their agenda and they can do nothing about it. In general any bug or problem you have will never get fixed by support and I don't think they ever even bring it up with there dev team, they will only refer you to documentation and then make excuses for months and months and months until you give up asking. Its a real shame as the CRM has a lot of great features, is easy to us, but is let down by vital missing features and their terrible support, and the dev team who release features and removes them without notifying any customers and don't care that it caused you problems in the process.
They started well, then the focus of the company was moved to other products (Freshwork suite) and the experience with freshsales has been getting worse and worse. Instead of improving what they have & fixing critical issues / poorly designed features, they keep on releasing features which create even more problems...As a user I suggest you stay away from Freshsales for the time being if you need to choose a new CRM.
