I like all the data i can get from chargebee. I also like that they're continuing to add more ways of gathering data. Keep working on this because it's great. I don't have to use excel as much as I use to and that's great.
I love the fact that Chargebee offers tiered pricing for small businesses. Their interface is beautifully designed and very intuitive. The test environment is also a huge deal. I can test any new features and provide hands-on training for my team without issue.
Right now, Chargebee meets all of my needs, so I would have to revisit this question next year after we have had time to grow the business.

Automating our subscription process. The ability to automate custom email confirmations is an invaluable tool. If my clients happen to sign up after business hours, I know that they will receive any confirmation and next steps in the subscription process automatically. This saves a lot of time. I can worry less about emails and more about providing amazing services.
I love the ability to apply promotional codes to client's accounts so that the amounts can carry over from previous billing cycles. The different reports that you can run are helpful to analyze the business, determine failed payments, see who is active vs cancelled, etc.
Some lack of integration with other platforms, particularly it makes referral programs difficult.
We use the failed payments report every week to reach out to clients to alert them of a failed payment. With this, we are able to quickly take action with all of these clients at once, in hopes of updating their billing information before our deadline cut off.

The UI can be a bit dragging and makes it difficult for one to stick on the software.
Besides managing your subscriptions, it does something very important. By using their payment form on your website, you can easily integrate with several payment processors. This is especially important if you have payments that have been rejected by one processor and you can send them to another processor. It also reduces the dependency on one single processor.
email support was satisfactory as they respond within 24 hours and migration team has helped as well.
onboarding for new free client is average. You have to rely on do it yourself everything as there is no onboarding call to discuss the business and what could work best.
