"Baremetrics Review"

What do you like best?

Easy to navigate the sign. Repeated sign on is not required as most sites generally time out after a few minutes.

What do you dislike?

Nothing to note at the moment. Everything is working well thus far.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Great tool for large or small companies in order to implement necessary components for business operations daily, weekly, and monthly.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Addition of personal notes for tasks is convenient and easily performed.

"Essential for SaaS businesses focused on growth"

What do you like best?

I can access the key drivers of my business and my status across multiple areas immediately -- it illuminates the state of my sales and revenue along with telling me where I am going. One of the really unique features is the ability to benchmark against other saas companies my size.

What do you dislike?

Nothing -- they have really pushed the limits of what you can glean from Stripe.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Honestly, do the trial-- you will realize after the first day that it's essential for your business. I would also recommend Josh Pigford's blog posts on scaling a startup -- they have been elemental in our growth -- truly useful content. Josh is the CEO/Founder of Baremetrics.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Immediate tracking of MRR -- this tells me daily how fast we are growing and I can share this information with investors and advisors -- this keeps us all on the same page and plays to our goal of transparency. The forecast feature helps us also keep our revenue goals on the exponential track. I also really appreciate the churn tracking -- being able to measure that against the industry helps us understand what is normal and where we rank.

"Baremtrics takes the work out of keeping tabs on your business"

What do you like best?

Baremtric’s dashboard allows me to get a detailed overview of my business’ numbers without the hassle and at a glance.

What do you dislike?

Segmenting has been recently introduced but it’s sticky. There’s also no mobile app yet which majorly takes away from the experience when you’re on-the-go

Allows me to fill holes before they become a big problem. It also allows me to run reports far easier than any other way I’ve tried.

"Indispensable Cash Forecast assistant"

What do you like best?

I love the interface and the support from Baremetrics, but my favorite feature is their Cash Flow Forecast. It works directly off our Stripe data and projects out charges by day, week, or month on a rolling 12 month basis. They project both with all current active subscriptions and with a revenue growth factor applied.

What do you dislike?

The projections with the revenue growth factor applied haven't worked well for us. I think this is because of changes within our business as opposed to a fault with the app. I hope as we stabilize price, this will become more useful for us.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Baremetrics is one-stop shopping for all of your business analytic needs. The interface is so easy to use and the support is fantastic. On top of all that, it's a great assistant for MRR and Cash flow forecasting!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I found Baremetrics while researching tools to help with cash flow projections. This was the only tool I found that met our needs using our Stripe data. It has allowed me to build out a forecast that is a meaningful predictor that we can make actionable business decisions against.

"Easy to use"

What do you like best?

Easy to use and gather results, integrates really well with Intercom and helps with our KPIs

What do you dislike?

At the moment I don't have any items or functions I dislike about Baremetrics

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would recommend Baremetrics for companies that are looking to implement it with their Intercom emails and support. We are able to maintain contact with user, allow them to know when payments are overdue, credit cards have not been processed and able to track and maintain our NPS score.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to integrate Baremetrics with our Intercom emails and increased our NPS score while also lowering out overdue payment rates.

What do you like best?

I like how easy it is to access valuable data.

What do you dislike?

Pricing per month is higher than I prefer.

"Does almost everything we need it to do"

What do you like best?

I love that I can see our metrics at a glance and then I can go in and focus on a specific metric to see what is really going on without much thought involved. One of my favorite features is the benchmarks, we can see how we stack up compared to companies that have an MRR range similar to ours, which can boost your morale big time.

What do you dislike?

My biggest complaint is that it doesn't do constant live updates. There is a stream that seems pretty consistently updated, however, it can take a few hours for your MRR to update. When you are close to a goal that means a bonus for everyone that extra bit of time is nerve-racking.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've used Stripe before Stripe had any type of reporting. We seriously had a spreadsheet that I would update daily with transaction changes, talk about painful and time-consuming. We still enter numbers on the spreadsheet so we can have all of our historical data from even before we switched to Stripe, but it is a simple copy-paste type of thing.

"Unique Cash Forecast application"

What do you like best?

We were constantly looking for a robust cash forecast application which could help us in making actionable business decisions. Baremetrics is the one which solved our business problem to a great extent. Thanks to great business analytics features which bring a quick business analytics needed for every business growth.

What do you dislike?

It looks like that for the businesses which do not have subscriptions, this tool is not so useful.

Baremetrics helped us to get a good insight of our business's Monthly recurring revenue and customer lifetime value. Helped in understanding actionable steps for overall business growth.

"Great statistics and dashboards!"

What do you like best?

It's the quickest way to get the KPIs we need to track from Stripe. The daily summaries are nice to have in my inbox every morning as well.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes, based on how we handle unique cases for subscriptions, the numbers will be off. The customer support also has taken a few days to get back to me on simple questions / requests.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's helped us understand our customers lifetime value a lot better, and has given us key insights we may not have otherwise figured out on our own. Our time to key knowledge is really fast. It has also been helpful for spreading awareness of where our company is at.
