Assignment management can be worked much more cooperatively than before, and these assignments can be rescheduled at any time. Jira is a service with which we can also schedule the problems or bugs presented during the development of our applications, so that the whole team is aware of this, and what should be improved to achieve more optimal results. It should be noted that the platform works with workflows, which can be reviewed to be approved or not by a superior.
Although problems can be followed up with the agenda system, Jira does not focus on allowing us to create audits completely dedicated to it. Jira has not integrated as well with the services provided by the Microsoft office suite, nor has it been able to better organize accessibility controls to the cloud. As for business management, Jira does not include integrated CRM, nor does it manage points of sale.
We recommend using this service to be able to manage the launch campaigns of our projects, and in turn to improve the marketing of these campaigns. The management that Jira provides to work with product roadmaps is very practical.
Our inventory management greatly improved. With Jira you can organize the quantity of objects that we need during our management, so that everyone can review the objects that the other members are using and be able to work based on it to achieve more uniform results. Jira has served for the optimization of our monitoring of working hours, and even of the expenses executed in the stages of each project.
With a large number of tools and automations, Jira provides reporting options, for those who work with customer support can make project creations separate the cause of occurrence as an incident, questions, tasks, improvements and other options that is at the discretion of the administrator . Jira brings intelligent filters with the right to use programming languages helping to optimize the work.
With the filters we were able to create gadgets in a panel of information with graphs, lists among others.
It does not have many changes related to dashbord, it lacks automation processes.
One of the best help desk in the market today, bringing automations and options to the administrator with reports, leaving everything more simple for your coordination.
For the customer to contact via a web platform was simpler, speeding the problem solving process since we work with SLAs, this platform provides the specific functionality to optimize the work.
Jira is the best project tracking tool which made my life easier. It has the best simple UI which is very helpful to someone who is new to this software. You can easily update status of your work and log the hours through its simple UI which eventually will help your organization to track the efforts of the team members. It has very good sprint board which helped me in tracking the current progress of the project. Apart from that, you can define user based access for different tasks/user story. Moreover, you can link bugs to the specific requirement and also tag them with specific version which really helped me in tracking those bugs at the time of release for documentation. You can integrate Jira with other tools as well which made my life easier.
It is very expensive for small organization. Apart from bugs, sometimes I find it difficult to search particular user story/task with specific criteria. You need to learn Jira Query Language to search it efficiently.
I would recommend it to all who wants best project tool for their organization. It will help you and your organization in tracking the efforts of project and team members very easily.
I am using Jira as project tracking like tracking progress of the project, tracking hours put by team members, tracking release activities and many others. I also have integrated Jira with different external tools like Slack, Confluence to get the keep me updated.
I have been using JIRA from the past 4 + years. My experience is splendid. JIRA is designed to help the users to capture, assign, and set priorities to their work. The most important feature is it manages the whole development process and the team to cover all the details from concept to launch. It's simple, intuitive interface enables collaboration with teammates and allows you to check the project heath at any point of time. The assignment process keeps all the things clear to complete team also all the actions can be viewed easily under history keeps the transparency level high at every stage of the project
Jira is robust and little cumbersome when we start working on this keeping the long list of usable things and workflows. It takes for a while to get your hand adjusted on the system but when are down its always good experience using it.
Best and economical solution for project management and issue tracking with dynamic workflow management
With the use of JIRA, the requirements miss can be tracked easily. All the issues/bugs are very well aligned with the specific feature and progress of the project is clear. Issues are simply linked to the user stories and workflow is easy to manage. Work allocation and tracking are very handy with Jira
With Jira you can keep track of the progression of each project, and you can keep track of each employee's work time. In addition, your Gantt view (in chronology) allows you to take a job management according to activity history. We also like being able to write down and solve recurring problems for each project in a short time.
Jira does not offer a graphic editor for workflows when working from its mobile platform. Tasks can not be organized according to spreadsheet. It does not offer gamification tools for task management. Regarding the monitoring of problems, the platform does not handle audit of these, nor does it manage elevations. It also does not handle presentation tools of marketing plans for the developed projects. Jira also does not manage comments from team members in reference to tasks when a project is being developed.
Jira is a good platform from start to finish. With it you can create a work system entirely based on the management of recurring (routine) tasks, where you can include sub-tasks, to get a more schematic work. We recommend it to remote software development teams with few members, or delegate essential monitoring functions if you want to incorporate large teams.
With Jira we can better define our objectives and key results (OKR), and our KPI. Our strategic plans are much more detailed, and the progress monitoring of each application in the development process is more detailed. Jira has also improved our productivity, and our group collaboration, since we can share files and communicate quickly.
I love this tool, because it has a continuous flow of work, where you can keep a continuous work rhythm, without any obstacle, which may affect the correct performance of the tasks to be performed, the dashboard in particular, meets my expectations and which are the tools that I really need, and are prepared in the best way, which helps a lot, to speed up work times, in all possible ways.
If there is something that should be spoken positively about this tool, it is the compatibility with other systems, since it easily allows the import of data, different tools, which is a great point in favor, since it is a tool that seeks the way to do all kinds of work faster, and easier.
The price may be a little high, especially for small companies, which do not have such a large capital, that allows spending money, so easily, it is actually a very complete system, but the costs must be taken into account, This platform, and be very clear, that you should get a return, in the shortest time possible.
Be very careful with some updates, on the system, since from one moment to another, you can change many things within the system, the updates of this application, are always good, but must be done, with certain precautions, nothing better, that are made by a computer specialist.
It is a tool that allows us to develop or manage all types of projects, from a single platform, without any inconvenience, this tool is very powerful in many technical fields, which helps us to enhance, quantitatively all our work, in general is a tool that empowers our entire work group.
The management of projects through this application, is something that really helps to have a much greater ease with these issues, it is an ideal tool, to see in detail all the functions of a work team, and the execution of a project, detecting all kinds of flaws, in these.
With jira it is easy to foresee the complexity of implementation of each workflow. Some configurations of flows can be really extensive, and we like that because it demonstrates the versatility of software to cover large work processes. Scrum boards are customizable and help the team stay focused on interactivity.
In jira, the code refactoring application does not exist, as does the modeling of information. Application compatibility tests have a more limited workspace than the rest of functions, and you can not prioritize projects based on your problems.
The best integrations for jira (from among the vast amount with which we were able to work) are zephyr and tempo timesheets. Jira has capacity for more than 3 thousand applications, so the work can become as varied and dynamic as desired. It is recommended to use the atlassian market place to cover such work, since it clearly shows what benefits can be achieved between jira and other softwares.
Our planning takes much less time. Jira manages our projects, and helps the workflow can be customized depending on the performance and skills of each member of the team. With jira you can keep track of the bugs presented in the software, including its correction and the metric information of your current situation. With jira you can maximize the entire process of developing mobile applications, including customer support for them. The granular system for assignments makes it easier to delegate tasks to the team individually.
Things that I like about JIRA are -
- It's amazingly fast .
- We can link tickets to each other .
- Creating epic , stories , tasks and sub-tasks eases our work .
- Tracking the development phases from starting to complete .
Things that I dislike about JIRA are -
- No duplicate recognition of issues .
- Outdated User Interface .
- I can't edit the workflow by myself .
- I should be able to delete the JIRA's that I created so please update the feature.
- Use tool tips for complex information .
- Make it more beginner friendly as it needs some experience before using it .
Getting used to JIRA will take some of your time but it is a tool worth learning .
Learn the JIRA Query language which will be very helpful .
Leverage the Dashboard to the maximum you can .
Just go for it as it is better than most of the competitors software's .
I work at a Business to Business solution provider company . We have a lot of products under development and JIRA actually helps us to manage the development process in many ways . Due to the ticket creating system , we can track development activities . And , the most useful feature is the Bug reporting thing which is used to track bugs across all the products .
The best project management software out there. It offers endless options while still staying relatively simple and intuitive to use. It is a bit pricey, though.
The best thing which I like about Jira is that you can customize the workflows. Moreover, they have loads of third party plugins which you can install it for better experience. Another important thing is that you can integrate Bitbucket and Confluence with Jira. Morevoer, it provides different kind of charts/reports like sprint burndown chart, Agile reports, velocity charts and many others. These reports/charts have helped me a lot in tracking the progress of the project and team members.
Sometimes it is difficult to navigate and find the right contents even if everything is searchable. It can be difficult for the beginner as it is a bit complex to understand its features.
I would recommend Jira to all the organization who has different teams working on different projects. It will help them to have a full control over their team's workflows.
I use Jira as a project management tool. We as a team use it to plan our sprint, to manage the backlog tasks, to track the workflows. It helped me in planning, specifying and tracking the work of my team members.
