Pros: This software starts from free, and has a lot of features. You can set times when you are available for live chat, and outside of those hours it is a message feature. It works well with either the website or app, and gives you analytical information as well.
Cons: Sometimes it can take a few minutes for the notification to come through that someone wants to chat. By then they might have left, and you miss out on a potential customer
Pros: It is very easy to add a live chat to your website. There are also free plans available. There is an android app that tells you when someone on your website is trying to chat with you. A lot of analytical information is available through this tool as well.
Cons: Some of the widgets do not look very professional
Pros: Our company has been looking for a suitable chat room for chatting with customers for a long time. At first we contacted them only by e-mail (this is inconvenient and long), then we tried to communicate in Skype (not everyone has this program). Finally settled on LiveChat and very satisfied. The application is simple, everyone can customize it personally, and management then easily looks at the analytics and tries to improve the performance of our guys working in technical support.
Cons: In order to integrate LiveChat with CRM, we had to apply for technical support. No other problems arose.
Pros: Mylivechat is simply the best chat software you can find. It enables me to not only greet clients as they enter my website but to work with them as well.
Cons: It could use a slight update in aesthetics but is so user friendly that doesn't really matter. It works very well for me!

Pros: Very good submission form if you are offline. It is emailed to you and you have a lot of time to respond. It is very easy to set up everything with just a basic knowledge of website maintenance. When you are on-line, there is a ring tone to alert if someone is requesting answers.
Cons: You cannot customize CHAT button in a free version. The chat window is too small and sometimes it is not easy to see the question or the thread. However, it is a free version, well worth the money.
Overall: Fewer phone calls that are not necessary.
Comments: Their free version is feature-packed except the automatic email notification which is only available for paid version.
