Podium is a platform that encompasses customer text messaging, reviews, and insights. With Podium, you have one inbox that can manage all communications and interactions related to your business. Using Podium’s messaging capabilities, you can let them text your business, as well as reply to them via text. You can also receive messages via other channels, such as Google, Webchat, and Facebook. All the messages you receive from the different channels are stored in one place. When you receive a message, you can assign it to an employee to take care of, and they can respond directly from within the central inbox. You can access this messaging inbox on any device from anywhere. You can also use Podium’s messaging capabilities to collect reviews. To do this, all you have to do is to text an invitation to write a review to your customers. You can even automate the process of sending these review invitations out.

"Seamless review platform"

What do you like best?

Podium is easy to use and really takes the work out of sending review invites. Nothing is needed besides the customers name and contact info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the clutter in the app. Being a bigger company, there’s constantly “unopened” messages that can be from anyone in the company/division. Someone has to manually close out or view conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very easy way for communication"

"Podium is so easy to use as a daily communication tool to reach out to customers."

What do you like best?

I love that we are able to get in contact with our customers in a much more modern way than the typical email. It really takes our communication to another level with our customers, because they are getting to communicate with us via text, something today's consumer uses most likely more than anything other source in their cell phone. They are able to get a hold of us much faster, and we are able to get notifications, which leads to quicker response times. The emoji's are an added bonus to have fun when engaging with out customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the auto-generated responses send too often (i.e. when customers send multiple messages, it seems like a robot is responding, and it could be more personalized.) If there were a max limit of the auto-generated response, this would probably be more beneficial to our customers. It would also be helpful to see what inbox the notifications are coming from so we know how urgent the message is, or how much time we have that we can wait to get back to our customers, are we are often quite busy. We are cutting out having tons of emails from customers that would come in. We are now having to call customers way less. This saves us time, as we are able to communicate with more customers, as in today's times, more people are inclined to respond via text, as opposed to answering a phone call from a business number. "Easy"

What do you like best?

I like hearing from my patients the best. I am able to respond back to them, or simply remind them of things without giving my personal number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I cannot create my own template. Also, if a child came in before the parent it will send the text instead of waiting for when the parent comes in. It won’t allow another text because one has already been sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Many people love this product because they never had a hard time navigating the app or accessing the link using their cellphones.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I consider myself a happy and satisfied client of Podium, so I have nothing that I can complain about. I see positive trends in our business quite some time already, and Podium has an immense contribution to our success.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I find using Podium to be very beneficial in sourcing relevant client feedback from all of our clients. We make sure to utilize all of these reviews to improve our service and find more ways to improve our products to make our clients happy and satisfied. Also, with Podium, we were able to find a way to resolve issues around the clock by deploying people to work after office hours.
