"Great for communication"

What do you like best?

Ryver is probably one of the best communication software I've used in a while. The process of making an account and get going was hassle free. The user interface is quite intuitive and it's relatively easy to make calls. Video and audio calls are of stellar quality that can only be rivaled by a face to face meeting in real life. Ryver also offers a high level of security to your organization by only allowing you to choose who's allowed to enter.

What do you dislike?

The pricing is very high. There's no free version to Fyver other than the initial 14 day free trial that you can opt for. After that, you're required to pay $49 per month only to get up to twelve users in your organization. The next level of payment removes any restriction on the number of users, but comes at a high cost of $99 per month.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're able to afford it, look no further. Ryver's video and audio call quality alone is worth using this software for.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've used multiple chat applications in the past where video and audio calls were unclear and had random interruptions. Ryver, on the other hand, has made communicating with people more convenient due to the high quality of video calls it's allowed me to make.

"Good Alternate of Skype"

What do you like best?

I like most of its features because it is very secure that no one will be enter my organization without admin permission and no one can interrupt your organization privacy.

What do you dislike?

only one document or one can send to anyone at a time so if we have to send multiple files to anyone it is very difficult on ryver

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Only sharing issue in ryver that at a time you can share one file to anyone please fix it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

when I used skype in my company we have many risks that anyone can join our groups with anyone's permission now I feel safe that without my permission nobody is allowed to join my organization.

"Ryver is the most suitable task and project management and for great internal communication software"

What do you like best?

I like how it easy to setup this software and start using it with ease.

It's easy to arrange and assign tasks to my teams.

Ease of time tracking on projects and tasks.

It's possible to make both audio and video calls of high quality when having a strong internet connection.

It's easy to send instant messages among teams thus keeping them intouch while working on projects.

What do you dislike?

This software has many robust features that requires excellent internet connectivity and this features includes video and audio conferencing that requires stable connection to produce high quality calls.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I highly recommend the use of this software without hesitation for easy management of tasks and great internal communication.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Increases internal communication thus communication among team is more effective thus enhancing great team collaboration which yields high productivity.

"A fantastic work hub with great features"

What do you like best?

Ryver control panel design makes very efficient use of computer screen space. The user interface is clean with well-spaced panels and windows. The general layout gives me an immediate overall glance at my channels and projects. The chatting feature, which is probably the main feature we use, is very robust and allows us to insert code, images, links and video in a streamlined manner. We can also create task lists and charts to help map out our group tasks, assignments and deadlines.

What do you dislike?

The prices for the premium plans are somewhat hefty in my opinion. It think it's still worth it for us, but if a team were to only have few users, then I'm not sure it would be quite a good value. Connecting to some external apps can be tricky. Some of the integrations don't take full advantage of the other software's capabilities.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There are several collaboration platforms like Ryver out there, so much of the preferences come down to design and pricing. To me, I think Ryver has a certain design that just hits the spot for me.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Ryver has provided us with a smooth and relatively straightforward platform for me and my colleagues to discuss business matters. We have very helpful tools that allow us to have access to project media and resources, plan and assign tasks, and have a centralized log for project updates. Ryver is also a great platform for us to immediately connect through video calls as issues arise.

"Great for small teams, easy to integrate"

What do you like best?

Ryver allows for quick and easy integration with nearly all of our internal systems using their REST API. This is great for updating the team on a specific event or even notifying specific team members with status messages if something goes down. Pricing is so much better than Slack or other team messenger apps.

As others have stated, I do feel there is a lack of "Polish" on the application and infrastructure. During my time using Ryver, there have been several updates to better the software, and I feel the team at Ryver is stepping up their game.

What do you dislike?

The Linux app occasionally has an issue displaying the layout correctly. The left hand navigation bar will hide randomly, then show randomly. This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's pretty annoying. The problem of the bar not displaying doesn't cause issues using the application, but it does bug me because I have to take additional measures to see any notifications I may have.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Take the time to review the features Ryver has to offer. The ease of use and integration with internal products is great, and the pricing model is even better.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were able to easily integrate our entire team over the course of a day. This was incredible.

"Best Slack Alternative"

What do you like best?

I've enjoyed Ryver's clean user interface and easy management features. It's easy to put together teams and channels and change notifications for them. And because of their API, we've been able to integrate our 3rd part apps. For the features you get, the price has the best value.

What do you dislike?

It would be nice to have more flexibility with the team notification settings.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have a widely distributed team doing tech support, development and marketing. Ryver has been a central place to collaborate and share news that is not email. It's more affordable than Slack and has some nice task management features we've used.

"Ryver has great power to transform teams and potential to connect large communities"

What do you like best?

I love the threaded conversations. Keeping conversations and related documents in their own place by using topics helps me keep things organized. This means more productive time for my teammates rather than catch-up time trying to find things.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was a central team "hub" or board where we could see everything laid out. I also find the lack of advanced notification controls challenging. Moving a small team to a new communication platform is challenging enough, but when we are talking about adding in a whole community, notifications become a major issue. I wish that we could limit push notifications to @mentions while leaving the notifications visible in the app. Also, a language option would make this more usable in the globalized world we live in. Finally, better calendar integrations and management oversight features would be very helpful.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As a team, information loss was a major issue. Lost documents and "lost" messages used to cause major conflict and were a cause of significant time loss. Also, as a partly virtual team, having out of meeting discussions proved to be a nightmare before Ryver, now we can do it with ease.

"Great teamwork communication tool"

What do you like best?

Features/Functions that are very versatile. Good UI/UX that even though most of the users are insufficient in English language but they can manage to use the software.

Unlimited data upload limit.

Topic/Task functions.

What do you dislike?

User rights/authorization and tracking need to be improved - the users if they edit there's no way we know the messages/comments/input are edited.

Photos are uploaded but there's no gallery feature. We can't click next to see the next pictures but have to close the current and click the next ones.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are a tailor house in Vietnam with inhouse production. The information needs to be streamlined well and data to be recorded & different teams work with each other. We need a centralized channel to communicate with functions like files, chat, tracking, tasks... Ryver helps us well with minimal investment.

Since using Ryver, it's easier for us to send & receive information, most of the data are centralized. And of course we dont have to pay a fortune for what we are using.

"Simple but strong team tool"

What do you like best?

We love Ryvers chat based communication, in which chat messages can be raised to topics, that again can be raised to tasks. It’s way of being organised in teams and forums makes it very suitable for an organisation as ours.

What do you dislike?

It lacks a bit in organising and presenting files. Files follows the teams very well. But it’s a bit heavy to get an overview over them.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We at a quite decentralised organisation, with employees working on different hours an in many different places. Ryver keeps us well together at all times.

"Invaluable Communication Tool for our Company"

What do you like best?

The ease of use and navigation within the application. The ability to organize teams both public and private, direct chats with reminders, notification, and tasks has made all the difference in our daily interactions. We are not able to respond to our team mates and customer inquires quicker with the full knowledge base of our organization at our finger tips.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really... I believe Ryver is a great tool and the company is always responsive to inquires and making updates to keep it relevant.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend that you try it... you'll love it! Using it is the best way to see all of the features available to you and your teams. You can even have more than one Ryver account. Some people use it for professional interaction and have another account to keep in touch with family schedules and communications.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are a software company with many employees that work remotely (in other states). Ryver allows us to reach other team members quickly and easily without phone calls or emails. Ryver allows us to share information, files and tasks as well as reminders. The ability to have public forums and private teams allows our organization to function productively with minimal interruptions using notification preferences. HUGE WIN! Thanks!
