What do you like best?
The ease of the system from applicant to employee and manager to CEO experience! Start requisition process workflow and once approved then the job is advertised, candidate applies and is an applicant in the system. Applicants are manages and once hired at a click of a button they go from applicant to employee and they are managed through to retire all via workflows. The ease of the system is user friendly and very manageable for global companies. The payroll application is amazing!! You enter the address (or the employee enters their address with a workflow and is accepted by a team member on HR or payroll) and the system knows exactly what the taxes should be based on residence and work locations and handles federal, state, locals, and even school district taxes all tied up in one easy bundle! Employee self service for all one-stop shopping for direct deposit, to benefits, to seeing pay statements and tax forms all in one easy platform with one user name and password and even Single Sign-On. Everything is saved in the cloud and therefore no more paper - all personnel files are electronic. We utilize background screening and I-9's through the Ceridian Dayforce platform as well so all truly wrapped up in one neat and easy to use system. Self-Service for managers to approve time away and time-sheet hours; all flows to payroll and is calculated based on timestamp and date driven. New hires and terms have prorates done by system and OT is based on true OT worked hours and no more manual calculations when someone is on PTO or there is a company holiday during the work week. System also knows when someone starts LOA to prorate the salaried pay as well as when someone returns from LOA. All rule driven and built based on YOUR company's policies and procedures as well as compliance under Federal and State regulations. Great learning platform for updates and new modules or upgrades to the system and all on-line classes offer certification credits for PR an HR certifications. Ceridian is always developing new programs/platforms to keep up to date and ahead of the market in this space. They listen to their customers and act on the needs based on customer outreach and feedback. Professional, friendly teams and great transparent communications; including direct to their CEO!!!
What do you dislike?
The mobile app needs to be improved; Ceridian is aware of this and has made enhancements over the last year and continues to strive to build on this part of their platform and I feel they will make positive strides over the next 18 months.

consider the friendly and professional implementation and support teams that will add value to your teams and your organization and will be able to take your company to the next level. The time that your team members will save due to the efficiencies that Dayforce offers will allow career growth and better use of team members time to innovate, win and grow the business you work with.

One platform is being met; so longer dual entry or wasted data entry time.
Global capabilities are met
Standardizing processes and procedures was easily done while building the application during implementation.
Workflows shows auditors where the work began and ended including all approvals along the way and date and time stamps are included.
Open enrollment and benefits platforms are being utilized and saving time with efficiencies by using the workflow and rule based technology.
Applicant tracking to employee team members to promotions, pay changes, to retire are all within one system and easily tracked and managed.
Time savings has been outstanding and our ROI is positive!!
