Paycor is a modern HR-management tool that revolutionizes the way organizations recruit and nurture talent. "Helpful and User Friendly"

What do you like best?

The most helpful tool is keeping track of time, especially giving our employees who travel to different locations the ability to clock in and out from their phone in specific location boundaries.

What do you dislike?

The way that we award PTO to our employees by anniversary date doesn't update on the specific date but on the pay date before the anniversary. This sometimes causes problems for us.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have recently started using Paycor to keep track of certifications, courses and compliance. This has been really helpful.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The software is so simple and easy to use and customize according to what our team needs. If we do have concerns, the customer service team is always on hand to help us resolve it.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It would be great if all information linked to our employees' status changes also get updated automatically.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Automating several features. Currently working on the policies concerning PTO at the moment with the customer service team.

Giving Paycor some love

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Paycor allows us to use one platform for our four NGOs' staff needs including employee information, timekeeping, payroll, reporting, and ACA filing.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

A tool that enables employees to interact with each other would be pretty awesome.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

System migration issues, which were resolved speedily by the support team.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The information we would input is automatically saved, and customer service agents are friendly and don't make us wait.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Nothing so far. The system is easy to get used to.

Trackers for PTO and deductions are updated.

"Great HR solution for payroll and timekeeping"

What do you like best?

The support specialists that we've worked with have been great. They are quick at responding and providing updates during research. We've opened a couple of new businesses since teaming up with Paycor and the implementations have gone smoothly. The dashboard is very easy to use. Creating customized reports and other data is very simple.

What do you dislike?

We have a management company that oversees various individualized locations around the country. Separate FEINs, and such. This presents some challenges with set-up, because of the "umbrella" management company, for a couple of aspects to the Paycor options.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Ask lots of questions specific to your business and what you are looking for. Then make a educated decision on what is the best solution for your company. There are a lot of solutions out there but Paycor has been a great fit for us.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Timekeeping for staff in remote locations around the U.S. We had an electronic timekeeping system in place that we thought was good. After working with Paycor and learning more about their timekeeping solution, we've decided to make the move to utilize the Paycor option.

Electronic onboarding has been a great addition to our business.

"LOVE LOVE LOVE PAYCOR!!!"

What do you like best?

Paycor allows us all-in-one access and services for our 4 nonprofit organizations. From employee database needs, time and attendance, payroll, ACA filings, the Paycor system allow us to operate with minimal input and the reporting function is BEYOND amazing and customizable. They also take client suggestions to make improvements and upgrades to their systems.

What do you dislike?

There really isn't anything to dislike...the only thing missing is a place for employees to interact. It would be awesome for our employees to be able to recognize one another on some type of board or newsfeed. We are geographically spread out and it is a challenge to keep everyone on the same page and engaged...a tool like this would help immensely.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do it! You wont regret it!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Just minor issues with imports and codes from one side of the system to the other (perform to T&A or payroll) but they always work to get them resolved quickly and the dedicated support team is always amazing!

"Simple view, understanding reps"

What do you like best?

What I like most about this software is how simple it is. Especially after the update, reports have never been so much easier to create and modify to your personal needs. The layout is simply. The customer service is amazing. Sometimes an HR rep isn't sure of how it can be done and will reach out to another team mate for assistance to make sure the bigger picture is being addressed before giving a definite answer.

What do you dislike?

Not a huge issue, but I wish time and attendance communicated more to the HR side. When people are terminated on the HR side I wish that any time off they had scheduled in time and attendance would be deleted in correspondence to their termination. Same with change of supervisor/managers of employees. Once switched on the HR side you need to go into time and attendance and change it there as well since they don't communicate in that way. These are minor issues though compared to all the things Paycor does right!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Currently working with Lindsey Wessels, who has been nothing but amazing. She is helping us with trying to resolve the PTO policies so that every year everyone starts with what they should have instead of me going and modifying all hundreds of employees. I realized there are grid imports to make things easier.

Paycor has a great reporting system

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Paycor enables me to produce reports that are customized and filtered according to what I need for work, including employee details that are necessary for individual viewing.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Future request: being able to customize the time-off page so employees can see what then need, from the number of leaves they'll take to the number they have left.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Being able to produce customized reports on KPIs, employee information and onboarding

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Paycor's support team have been so helpful. Since we've started working with them, we've seamlessly opened more business because they've quick to respond and give updates about their user-friendly software.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We could use more set-up options for our subsidiaries.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Staff timekeeping and our onboarding system across our remote locations have vastly improved.

"Great System and Reporting"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to produce customized reports. There are employees in various departments who are only allowed access to certain pieces of information. In Paycor, you have the ability to make those customized reports with only the criteria you're wanting. We also implemented a CPM platform and needed a way to get the headcount/compensation/taxes/etc. and all related information into it. We were able to create customized fields within Paycor that helped us track specific ways management wants to view the information (like a sub grouping of employees by 4 different categories). Once the information was populated in the customized fields, we built a report that allowed us to do an import into our CPM platform.

What do you dislike?

I wish there were some more customization features for users. For example, I'd like the ability to customize the time off screen. If there was a way to see all of the balances at once instead of having to click on them. On the vacation time, it only shows what's accrued. Say you get 10 vacation days. You will see only how many hours you've accrued through that pay period less the hours used. So when you want to figure out how much time you would have left (assuming you plan on staying for the entire year), you have to figure it out yourself. Maybe there is a way to do this, but I can't find anyone who can help with that!

The ability to easily track employees and their information, employee onboarding, KPI reporting
