I think homebase is a great way to keep all your employees informed and aware of their scehdule/pay
Sometimes the groupchat can be a lot and overwhelming to use.

I like how every week, instead of just getting your schedule on the app, you also get texted your work schedule for the week. It was a little exciting waiting every week to see how many hours you would get scheduled in. You can also see when and if your co-workers are going to be in on a certain day or time period. So those that you are friends with, you can get excited about working the shifts with and you know who will be there during your shift. I also like how I can contact other employees through the app and even trade shifts with them or give them my hours. I know several times, employees I was friends with would give me their hours if they did not want to work that day which helped me a lot to get those extra hours in to make more money. It also helps with payroll because it keeps track of the exact time someone clocked in and clocked out of work so every minute counts.
I don't really dislike anything. I think it is a really great and useful app with a user-friendly interface.
Use Homebase because it really keeps everything in regards to scheduling in one place: chatting with other employees, scheduling, trading shifts, giving your shift to someone else, etc.
It makes it easier to know exactly which hours you're working and who you are working with. It also is great because if you come to work early, you can sign in for those 15 extra early minutes (if your employer allows) which lets you earn money for that time. If you leave late and work overtime, that also gets recorded instead of just assuming you worked from 8-5.
This program is awesome!! You can use it on a computer, Clover, cellphone, or tablet! It makes managing so easy. It intergrades time clocks, scheduling, shift trades and requests off, time sheets, everything that you need! I don’t know what we would do without it
There’s not much at all to dislike! Maybe the fact that SOME features require the paid edition, but hey they have to make their money! Still amazing with the free edition

Homebase is very user friendly. I enjoy that you may learn how much money you earn per day.
I do not enjoy that the application takes a photo of you upon opening/closing.
I have not encountered any specific problems yet. The best benefit is how simple it is to use. Even my elderly coworkers do not have trouble utilizing this application.

Lots of different features on the app - shows earnings, lets you clock in from your phone (although I’ve found that feature glitches about half the time), and offers the ability to send group messages to staff members.
I get text notifications reminding me about my shift which can get annoying (I’m sure there’s a way to turn this off but it’s automatic when you get the app). Also I think there are several features that are somewhat unnecessary and only serve as a distraction to the features on the app that are actually useful (i.e. “rate your shift” or “give a shout-out to a coworker”)
Good way to communicate with other coworkers all at once. It’s also nice to be able to clock in/clock out from my phone if, say, all the computers are being used at the time. Very efficient in that way.
Really user-friendly. It does not take long to get the hang of it. It has helped us stay more organized. Plus you can color code! Scheduling is a breeze for us now. I really like the timesheets as well. It is super easy to export and send to our payroll department.
I would like to see a summary of the scheduled hours for individual employees. Right now I'm calculating that by hand.
Scheduling and timesheets are really easy to manage. I also love that our employees can download the app and see when they have shifts coming up.
My favorite feature of this software is how easy it is to share the work schedule across our entire team and how easy it is to manage requests for time off, availability, and for employees to also manage theie own time by specifically engaging other employees to request cover
The only downside to this program is the differences across the app on iOS versus Android and that sometimes employees cannot see who they are working with ahead of time before their shift
We're solving the issue of establishing the work schedule in an easynd accessible manner for all employees to see as soon as possible. An added benefit is how it easily calculates the wages an employee can expect and if they have an issue with their availability then they can find cover or trade a shift with another employee or immediately contact a manager to inform them through Homebase's messaging system
