What do you like best?
Ease of use is clearly the overriding theme in the design of this software. From the start, the system walks the user through the complete process of on-boarding. The flexibility of the system allows us to completely customize the on-boarding process. This system also in capable of integrating with a large number of third party vendors, from payroll to insurance carriers to COBRA administration, making benefits administration simple and efficient.
The system also automatically notifies our insurance professionals, mitigating the need for additional emails or phone calls.
What do you dislike?
Communication with the benefits platform coordinator (the person setting up the benefits plans and contributions) must be on point. This is not a shortcoming of the Employee Navigator system, but rather a common tenet pertaining to all Ben Admin systems.
The less the system is used by a client, the less value it will represent. Be sure to have all parties on the same page regarding the use of the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Many supplemental insurance providers will off this system at no cost. They will typically administer the system for you and assist with integrations.
