"REVIEW GoToAssist"

What do you like best?

Easy of use. Quick loading and simplicity for end users

What do you dislike?

Method to add/remove licenses is cumbersome. Removal of licenses requires to wait out until contract is over. No prorating.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Browser version works great. Avoid attempting to use shared email addresses. It becomes more difficult to manage.

"GoToAssit: simply wonderful"

What do you like best?

It has a very fast and efficient real time chat. You have the important option to make comments and surveys, and that makes the group dynamic to share ideas and opinions. The screen recorder is a great help to review the most important topics spoken in videoconferences. The software has compatibility with different devices and your team can access my phone remotely, so we can help with our doubts

What do you dislike?

A limitation for some businesses may be the monthly cost of the software, but they still offer a free trial. GoToAssit depends on a fast internet connection, otherwise it will cost a bit to be able to use it normally

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There is practically nothing to recommend, since the last update the software has been very stable and is very fast. Perhaps they could put the option of being able to control remotely on another user's IOS device

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a software with fast connections and GoToAssist is one of the most stable and fast at the moment. We always use screen sharing so that more than one user can see the details of the project. We can easily connect from our Macs. We have been able to implement the software through an MSI

What do you like best?

GotoAssist is software that has as main function the handling or communication of remote form which allows to observe simultaneous screens like the transference of information between people through PC, MAC or mobile devices this remote system entails that the way of handling of information is of greater facility without no type of frustrations since the diverse tasks can be shared or work in the shared use up to a number of 8 clients interconnected simultaneously offering technical support between the parts that need it

What do you dislike?

One of the main things that always play against remote use tools is that the privacy of each and every GotoAssist does not escape from that insecurity since it does not have encrypted security codes and allows strange devices to erroneously interconnect to any available device, also that GotoAssist commercial service has a high cost for each membership to pay which reduces the level of recruitment of the software after the free time offered by it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

One of the main recommendations our industry can offer GotoAssist is to try to encrypt a privacy code where everyone needs a private link to interconnect in a totally secure way without compromising any important computer data in the remote connection or file transfer by the same but nevertheless GotoAssist is one of the best remote management tools.

GotoAssist however was implemented within the organization due to the great pandemic that is living in this way has managed to keep us communicated remotely solving problems of easy nature and training staff who lack knowledge of functions within the company without having to constantly attend the physical location of the company, it was also implemented for communication of senior management and for the management of their misunderstood work machines.

"Connect to any PC quickly and easily with Goto Assist"

What do you like best?

GotoAssist is today one of the most popular remote supports in the administration and management of IT infrastructure-based call centers. With GotoAssist you can boost your operations at a low cost because it has very manageable rates. The program is very easy to use and the interface is quite fluid and also extremely versatile as it allows you to use it both in Windows and in Mac, you have the option of converting a simple phone conversation into an online support chat which allows you to have control over the computers at the other end and finally it has a very fast data transfer option and you can share the screen two ways.

What do you dislike?

The reboot and reconnect option can sometimes fail, the platform sometimes gets heavy when multiple users access it to the point of freezing the screen and losing control of the computer, the drawing tools seem unnecessary and the program does not explain how to use them, the GotoAssist web interface can be slow and outdated is quite problematic when working and the installation of the program is a bit slow.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The environment at GotoAssist would be quite useful in a business environment with multiple remote employees or working in remote employee mode is also perfect for situations where you want to help a customer without leaving your office and also save valuable time but it also depends on how satisfied the customer feels with a remote service and finally I would not recommend for companies that have a bad internet connection.

My organization makes use of GotoAssist in the IT department to help users who are remotely located outside the United States for work. Thanks to GotoAssist we have been able to train multiple people in different areas and also when we need to solve a problem we do not need to send links but simply connect to the users' computers and solve it quickly without them being in front of their computer GotoAssist has been a great discovery by our organization.

Sometimes the Unattended Support sessions have issues when storing username and password.

"An Excellent Program for Remote Support"

What do you like best?

It is very straight forward and easy to use. Remoting into a workstation for a customer takes less than 2 minutes.

What do you dislike?

I honestly cannot find anything that I can say negative about the program. I've used it for over 4 years now in the course of my duties, and it NEVER fails.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

For an easy to use, user friendly remote support software, GoToAssist takes the cake! You cannot go wrong with them.

Remote access is 100% a requirement for the company. This gives us easy access to the customer and allows technicians to rectify any issue they might have with our software.

"Great tool for assisting customers online!"

What do you like best?

GoTo Assist helps our representatives show a customer how to use a feature on their own computer. We use this tool to help customers who struggle with verbal or written instruction, and also to capture information for bug reports.

What do you dislike?

It would be helpful if we could record the session to send to the customer for reference, including audio. Right now, we use a separate tool to capture video while using GoTo Assist. It would be much easier to have this in the same place.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would highly recommend this program to anyone who needs to provide remote support. We have never had any issues using GoTo Assist, and it has helped us to better aid our customers.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are now able to resolve bugs more easily and quickly, since we can see the problem firsthand. Customers can also be assisted more quickly when they need hands-on assistance.
