Here`s a list of the best alternatives for Office 365:
Yes, Office 365 provides API.
The organizational factor is what I like best, Office has come a long way from the start. The cloud option in todays time is an absolute necessity in keeping organized and productive.
The price could be a little less, but it is not all that expensive.
The problem I be trying to solve would be the incorporated use of different softwares into an mega all in one program software. Cloud storage is a huge benefit to begin with.
Office 365 has always been reliable and accessible. There are better suited cloud competitors, but no other has the access across enterprise systems like Microsoft. Office is the preferred productivity tool for enterprise organizations, so this is the suite that makes sense.
The system and suite still seems to be a bit disorganized when compared to other cloud-based tools. Particularly, the storage solutions need a bit of development.
Try the free versions if you need to.
Needed an enterprise level cloud-based productivity suite.
I actually love office! I use it for schoolwork and it's working fine for me. Absolutely no problems!
With the recent update, it became excellent for cross team collaboration
Office 365 comes with a host of applications for everyday use in the office and at home.
Microsoft Excel provides a huge range of functionalities that can help with managing bills, calculating costs and working with numbers. It is also great for generating charts and analysing statistical data.
Excel also feeds into powerpoint so you can update a powerpoint slide with the latest dataset simply by uploading the new dataset into excel.
The ability to programmatically perform functions is also a great time saver, particularly with repetitive and complex tasks.
Microsoft Word has tons of functionality and is effective for more simple tasks such as writing a letter, to more complex tasks such as creating legal documents, writing books etc.
The benefit of using Office 365 is the constant updates and always being on the latest version of the software.
Downside to Office 365 is the constant subscription fee that is charged monthly/ annually. It is cheaper in the short term to buying a full release suite such as Office 2019, but over time it works out to be more expensive.
Some extra pieces of software such as Visio require additional license fees, which is a shame as you may only want to use it a few times but it's only worth purchasing if you are a frequent user and the alternative - publisher/ excel- doesn't really fit the job effectively.
Worth looking at alternatives such as the annual releases as it may work out cheaper for you.
There is also a free trial which would be useful for you to look into as it will allow you to see how often you use the software and whether it fulfils your requirements.
I use office 365 for more basic tasks such as creating presentations through powerpoint, writing letters and managing finances with Excel.
Which I like best is all of this software.
I will use this software everyday, the excel, word, PPT, Skype, one drive, etc.
No doubt it's a great software, it makes us easily to communicate and report to our boss, use excel to sort and analyze our data, use word to make a diary and reports, use ppt to show our comments to our colleagues and boss, that's very convenient. I like this software, almost every things.
I think this software is perfect, nothing is what I dislike. if at least one point, I think it's the price. it's a little high, but it value that.
that's a great apps. I like this apps. it's excellent.
almost 95% problems I can solving through office 365. it's fantastic.
The entire suite of Microsoft office 365 removes the need to do constant upgrades to the office applications installed on our entire organization of 3000+ computer assets, as the current version is always available online and with E3 licenses can be installed locally. You can add individual applications as well as bundles so it is a very customizable agreement that can be perfectly matched to your business needs, and changed when required.
The cost for the licensing can be confusing and is intentionally vague, which allows Microsoft the upper hand in negotiations. Additionally like purchasing a car, some features are locked behind licenses that are much more expensive and you are required to upgrade each user to that license to utilize the functionality.
Really outline your business needs and future state, as getting into a license agreement that doesn't fit the future can be very costly to break. Additionally consider how much integration you will want with your products as a lot of expertise is required to implement and maintain those integrations
It serves to cover our entire business computer support needs. This ranges from an email client, word processor, spreadsheet application, mobile device management, online protection, web application builder, workflow automation, SharePoint site creation, and file management. Our business was already using Microsoft as our primary provider for these features so moving to Office 365 allowed us to keep current with a reduced overall licensing cost.
Office is the number one office package for a reason. It's compatible with everything, it's easy to use, and it's feature rich. Do you need to create a beautiful presentation? You can! Need to create an infographic? You can do it! Need to create a chart that cuts down to the point of the issue sat hand? It's easy! I love that with one product I can access all of my documents across all of my devices via OneDrive. I love that most functionality carries over between desktop and mobile versions of software. And, it's all for a fair subscription price. It's definitely one of the best purchases you can make for your business.
If I had to complain, it being a subscription can be tiring. It's one more thing to budget for and, at times, it would be nice if it could be a one time purchase (with and option to upgrade each year - similar to how Camtasia works).
Look at the other options out there. Google has a great free service, but just for basic things. If you live in an Apple ecosystem, they have great options (plus they are free). However, they aren't universally compatible and are more difficult to run on a Windows-based desktop.
It gives us a common language to use when working. It's instantly understandable - and Teams has been a godsend during the pandemic.
Office 365 is a great all in one solution for the work place. Being able to have up to date Office software and email programs is a great help. We switched several months ago and it's been great for everyone! I also like how OneDrive gives every user plenty of space and syncs with everything flawlessly.
Sometimes the service does go down and users have to restart Outlook in order for emails to send out and come into the inbox. If that was resolved it would be perfect!
We solved the problem of having older and outdated versions of Microsoft Office, we always get the latest updates now which is great! We have noticed an increase in productivity as well, especially with using the included OneDrive. Using OneDrive has helped keep everything streamlined versus using the older Dropbox solution we used to have.
With O365 we will get access for all the applications like Outlook, Calender, Onedrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint. Once the account is moved to O365 we will get the Outlook space of 99GB which is the best part of it, which allows the users to access to lot of data.
The only thing with O365 is its a bit Costly, which the normal user cant get through.
Office 365 is really helpful for each and every professional for their daily works, which helps you with wide applications with which you can meet the requirements. If some organization is looking for bundle of Microsoft Applications then O365 is the best.
Each and Every IT professional needs Microsoft Applications like Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and lots more which O365 provides you in one single bundle. It also helps to open the files so that the user can access the data.
