"Phocas Review"

What do you like best?

Phocas is a great tool for Analytics. It combines various sources of data from MRP system (direct integration) through to spreadsheets.

It is easy to navigate and also for administrators, it is easy to manage integrations and build dashboards and favourites that provide real value for our business.

The system allows users to view data across the business and home in on exception reporting to identify issues and fix them!

What do you dislike?

It would be good to be able to e-mail mini dashboards on a regular basis. The system allows you to set up favourites and set up scheduled e-mails but this is usually just for one data set.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This software is worth investing both the time and money into. It has definitely helped us to improve the bottom line.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Like many businesses, we have data across several systems. As a manufacturing company, we use Solidworks, Merlin MRP and the Microsoft 365 suite. The direct integration with Merlin allows for seamless updates, whilst we can also bring in things like KPI data from other sources.

Our users now have a consolidated view of the business and we can identify issues quickly.

We use the data to make more informed decisions for anything from forecasting sales and stock procurement through to performance.

"Phocas Software Revolutionized our Business"

What do you like best?

The ease of extracting data and reports from our financial system.

Support and the knowledge base is phenomenal. the team understand what we want and how to achieve it.

What do you dislike?

The fact I need full user licences to utilize the CRM system. my admin team do not need access to the financial reports to the same level as every other department....but they are the most important when it comes to CRM so I would have to purchase several more licences for minimal use

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would definitely recommend Phocas to any SME business and have!

The ease of accessing data has revolutionised our business to be able to be more reactive and strategic which has made a positive direct impression on the bottom line and customer interaction

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We solve problems on the move and as and when. We have worked with the team to access the information specific to us and it works wonders.

The team are fast to react and keep us in continuous dialogue vie the new ticketing system

"Phocus has been a game changer!"

What do you like best?

The ease of use and the fact that if you go wrong you can just click Phocus and the top and start again. Also I love how flexible the platform is and how you can easily manipulate the data in any arrangement you want. This has made reporting so much easier and also I have more data at my finger tips than I did a year ago thanks to the implementation of Phocus in our company.

What do you dislike?

So far i have not found anything that I dislike about the platform.

Do not hesitate and implement Phocus as soon as you can.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I can now deep dive in to my customers spending habits more accurately and faster than I could previously. This mean I can pick up on any lost sales or gaps sooner.

"Sales & Marketing Control"

What do you like best?

Having used Phocas over the years it is so easy and intuitive, allowing you to build simple or complex reporting dashboards for all areas of the business to see visually what is happening in the business.

What do you dislike?

Only issue is when we have a multi branch customer who is covered by different sales representatives, they can only see their specific sales and not for all the customer branches.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Phocas allows us to identify sales leakage by customers. When marketing new ranges we can also spot where new product is moving fast and also slowly and take actions to remedy any issues that arise.

"Easy of Use - good tool to dive deeper "

What do you like best?

I really like the ease of use of Phocas. Once you get the hang of it, you can slice and dice your data or create calculations for your data.

What do you dislike?

Visuals/charts are limited. Have to export data into excel to manipulate and create better graphics.

Request a demo.. this software can offer a lot for what you’re needing.

Gaps in customer spending and where we aren’t penetrating. Identifying lost business.

Excellent, fast, easy and helpful software

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

One of the first things I experienced is the fast shift between one data analyses to another, within seconds with only one click. Dashboards are also great because I can organize and follow the reports. In addition, their Kpi meters are very easy to access and easy to use.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We cannot set the live data with the systems we use, and that means we are day behind in the information we get from Phocas. They could make the streaming of data more accessable.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We can now easily put all the sales and epos data on easy to read table instead of working in excel.

It is a must have software for every company.

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

With Phocas you can easily create and save reports, you can create dashboards, users, etc. Admins can make changes to different users, on the other hand, they are allowed to reset their passwords whenever they need. You can send data to different sources. You have access to different levels from a line level, in between and to the high level. Phocas gives you an ability to select and give responsibility to different users.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I believe they need to make the dashboards more clear, also you need to have an appropriate training and knowledge of the product if you want to make any changes by yourself. I would advise the team of Phocas to build advanced features for long term users.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

With numerous informations Phocas create dashboard to help you with decisions much faster. Show information about the customers and/or products that decrease in sales. Give you an appropriate security parameters to deliver data. Produces information within a tight deadline.

Really empowering for users

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

The thing that I appreciate the most about this is how empowering it is. It is so user-friendly that users can acquire their data and quickly get the results, all without having to go through the I.T. staff middleman. Rather than having to go through a long-winded explanation and maybe even several re-dos with I.T., we've been able to use this tool to do the job ourselves. It has really sped up the work process.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I really can't say anything negative about this tool as it has really helped us with improving the services and product we offer to users. It has always given us the results we needed and I am happy that I'm using it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Really, the biggest problem that this tool helped us out with was quick and accurate information access. Our salespeople can quickly get information on a customer or a product. They can easily find out whether a product is still available. This tool very quickly and efficiently provides them with results.
