What do you like best?

SQL Server is fast and reliable. It also provides data merging, reports features which are very useful for business and developers.

What do you dislike?

It's response time is slow and when a large amount of data is inserted in it. It takes time to execute a query.

"Best for the database management "

What do you like best?

Microsoft SQL provides generated query no need to write manually. also, provide data export and import facility. If you want to insert database just fire one query and all schema of the database is created with data.

What do you dislike?

Three dislikes first one is taking a huge amount of disk storage and ram, a little bit slow. Second thing connection and installation is taking time. fixing of connection problem is a big issue. If you searched for a connection problem then you did not get an exact solution.

What do you like best?

Microsoft SQL has SQL Server Database Engine that has power to control storage of data, processes and security of the data in the database. It has commands and queries for manipulating data in the database.It is also capable of managing, files, tables, data buffers and transactions.

What do you dislike?

What I dislike in Microsoft SQL is that despite using it for educational purposes, using it for commercial purposes is quite much expensive for licencing of the product.

Installation takes more time.

User sometimes need to refresh local cache to take help of intelligence.

"SQL Server - Reliable and secure dbms tool."

What do you like best?

Its an easy to use and user friendly application. Integration with other application is seamless. Easily able to create new db objects like stored procedure, table, view, cursor, trigger etc. Microsoft SQL server support most of the data types.

Highly responsive during the use. Easily able to schedule the backup of databases. Database restoration is very simple.

Its tracing feature helps us to cature the sql commands execution details/requests on server.

To improve the performance of a database we can create stastics and can review the missing index(es) detail in database tuning advisor.

What do you dislike?

Installation process takes bit more time except that did not observe any major issue in application.

Yes, great application for database management. Its suitable for all type of organizations regardless of size. Go for it.

We are using this application to manage the databases of different applications. Its inbuilt functions and features are very useful during the database development. Improved the databases performance, availability and security.

I can work with various types of data, easy to do bacup and restore, if used with great applications respond with a lot of speed.

What do you dislike?

Due to having several functionalities it is necessary to have a professional qualified for the installation and maintenance of the system, often exclusive to this solution. It is also necessary a machine with enough resources due to the large use of RAM

If you need a database with high scalability and maintain data integrity for sure Microsoft SQL is one of the best alternatives, maybe the cost may take a little while, but it's worth the investment.
