"A Total Game Changer"

What do you like best?

Initially, I thought Appsheet was just a quick way to put a front end to a Google sheet but I couldn't have been more wrong. We're now building SLQ Server, Cloud-based apps at a fraction of the cost of digital development.

What do you dislike?

Not exactly code-free development but pretty darn close

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Fast turnaround of prototype apps that we can actually put into production

"Unbelievable application. I see amazing future as Appsheet comes to Google.."

What do you like best?

Robust support for newbies makes this amazing.

What do you dislike?

Should be able to generate auto-increasing keys for all tables.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This is a great app simply because of the ease of use and pricing. How often can you say that?

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Management of diabetes and hypertension in communities in Nigeria.

"Powerful and versatile platform for building pretty much any kind of application"

What do you like best?

Definitely has a learning curve since there are so many features and many different ways to achieve the same outcome, but good support docs and a very active community to share knowledge/best practise. Lots of data source options available, with great Google integrations which will only get stronger presumably, now Appsheet is a Google owned company. Fun to use!

What do you dislike?

UX options are slightly limited but these are improving gradually.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Appsheet to run the logistics for our Ski Touring and Mountaineering holiday company (Alpine Guides Ltd). Our app is mainly used on desktop and manages various aspects of the business that are not handled by our booking/payment system and accounting software. These aspects were previously managed via a series of connected spreadsheets which were very tedious to use and so we were always on the lookout for a better way, without spending tens of thousands on a bespoke/inflexible system. Appsheet has helped us accomplish this and handles everything else including accommodation bookings (mountain huts and hotels across the Alps and all the other locations we guide in), IFMGA guide/other supplier bookings/contracts and payments, and client communications/joining instructions.

During Covid our business has been taking a short break until normal travel can resume - whenever that may be...! In the downtime I have used Appsheet to help some other local UK companies to manage their workflow, invoicing and client communications to help kickstart their own business recovery after lockdown. These include workshop management and customer order/warranty tracking for a ski shop, job management and customer communications for an electrical contractor, and contract/site management for a large local Arborist (tree surgery) company.

Appsheet is fantastic in its versatility, and seems to be getting better month by month, with a very active and supportive developer team.

"Helpful, Fast, Reliable, Easy"

What do you like best?

It was easy for me to just apply logic and affordable, I have made an entire ERP system using Appsheet for my jewelry business

What do you dislike?

Certain limitations such as new tags but those are manageable, every entry has to be synced it could be great if it has an autosave feature

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have managed to develop an ERP where step by step accounting has been done using APPSHEET.

"Development time is very short and Automated UI/UX is cool!"

What do you like best?

Most helpful is database design, no need to think much on structure and the best automated UI based on the data given in spreadsheet (by giving example data in a sample row it automatically fetches and generated row based on the number or text or email or even percentage also) thats really AWESOME!! Actions in the appsheet are easy to implement, the name of the type itself tell what it does. As am a ML enthusiasist I am curious to explore more on Smart assistant, predictive Models and OCR models. Finally I really recommend to my dev friend Appsheet!

What do you dislike?

Documentation and Training Videos, Its hard to find the related questions and solution. Need a better community like Stackoverflow and sometimes i feel hard on Querying part and workflows. Actions context can be added more like multiple rows addition in an another sheet or loop kind of think based on a condition. webhook json can be improved i personally felt there is no proper example or documentation to implement this feature.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

All Developer should give a try!! and yeah its a demanding skill now-a-days in freelancing!!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to create apps for Inventory management and Employee Management very easily. Main benefits is development time is very less

"Una herramienta de Control"

What do you like best?

El poder obtener de manera completa los datos de forma ordenada y a tiempo real en un registro visible en la App como en un archivo Excel. Ya con ello eliminar de forma paulatina el uso del papel en nuestro sistema.

What do you dislike?

La estructura de los formularios, ya que son ordenados de forma vertical. Podrían agregar opciones como una plantilla. Es decir, el poder ubicar las preguntar a lo largo del ancho de la pantalla, o poder superponer una a otra, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Una herramienta de control vanguardista.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

El registro de control de calidad de productos en una planta industrial.

Los operadores se encargan de registrar variables y atributos, los cuales serán validados de acuerdo a una Hoja técnica. Con ello se obtendrán registros a tiempo real de los datos a controlar.

"Creating an App made easy"

What do you like best?

Simple to use and saved me $5200. I was able to figure out the process without any coding experience.

What do you dislike?

Maybe the ability to customize. There isn't an option to drag and drop and add other features that may not necessarily make it better. I used integration with Google Sheets so I used it under a different circumstance.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Learn to use excel or Google Sheets.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Easy enough for a beginner to use.
