What do you like best?

I had referred one of my colleague and the seamlessness in tracking the application status and the User Interface is really great. There is no need to ask the recruiter for the status of the application. The jobs shown also gives us an international exposure. If its is an internal refer the Bold Caption of I am Interested is also fascinating. Benefits are the application status and suggested job code related to the applied one.

What do you dislike?

An email to the referrer on application Status is needed. This saves lot of time in logging into the account again.Also the reason for the rejection in application will help in understanding what kind of preference the recruited is looking for.

What do you like best?

Provides a fantastic experience for the recruiter. Its quick, organized and very easy. Super fun!

Perhaps the editor might need some improvements otherwise I have nothing bad to say.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It really hits all the criteria needed for talent acquisition and more. Bringing all the departments together and making communication between hiring managers and HR that much easier making the process more efficient. Especially nowadays when working remotely is almost the only option.

Its saving talent acquisition a lot of time with the amount of features smart recruiters has. It has the ability to finish a recruiters task from headhunting stage to onboarding.

What do you like best?

It is configurable to a large extent even in the free version

What do you dislike?

No api support in the free version. No admin view where I can see all the interviews scheduled company wide. Also even if I tagged one or two colleagues in the comment, I still want to make it visible to admins. This is not possible. Overall activity view is missing, like colleague A marked x candidate shortlisted, colleague B scheduled interview for y candidate. At an admin level atleast i would like to view the activity and being able to filter these based on colleague name or activity type.

Definitely a worth try. After an initial setup, everything is so seemless

And that is being managed very well with smartrecruiters. Specially that screening questions section. Wish those questions were configurable based on the job profile.

What do you like best?

The ability to communicate directly with candidates and have them be able to supply additional documentation that is stored in their profile. I also love that it emails me the additional documentation!

What do you dislike?

So far I have not found a downside though I would say an improvement would be allowing other members to be able to login and tag their resumes but not be able to see other resumes in the portal.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to post links to the postings directly to our website and collect and store candidate information automatically when they apply. Previously we were having candidates email their documentation and we were manually tracking in Excel.

What do you like best?

We have been doing recruitment processing manually for a long time, and I know the pain behind it. Having a specialized tool that you can configure to match your recruitment processes is awesome. That said, the best feature I like in the tool is the fact that all major steps from creating the vacancy, getting approval from the leadership to actual hiring. You actually don't have to step out of the tool anytime during the hiring process.

What do you dislike?

Most of the time we have multiple recruitments on going for different and similar job opportunities. If I as the "Hiring Manager" come across a good candidate during the interview steps for the vacancy I'm hiring for, but realize he does not fit mine, but at the same time would like to recommend him to another hiring manager in a different recruitment, I hit a block in SmartRecruiters. If you are playing the "Recruiter" role I believe you can, I'm not really sure how the role based security works here! but it's something I can look past :)

Publishing job vacancies in multiple job boards and attracting good candidates.

What do you like best?

It's easy to communicate with candidates with the email featured embedded in SRS.

What do you dislike?

There currently isn't an option to hold candidates in a different queue that I'm not moving forward with immediately. Even when deferred they still show as new in my job queue.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I'm not experiencing many problems, I am still playing around in the system to take advantage of all the features. Using the tags to identify candidates is beneficial.

I like how easy it is to filter out what specific jobs you are looking for

Honestly dont have any complaints, I have had trouble using the "internal employee platform" but believe that is specific to my company.

Make good use of the filters provided. Seeing what jobs are currently available in your area, as opposed to the closest bigger city, is extremely useful

As someone who has used this for applying and for hiring, I have used it to filter out applicants that are applying from another province or city to cut down number of applications that wouldnt meet our criteria.
