I loved that NetSuite was compatible with virtually every other software/system.
The amount of time it took to train. It is not the most intuitive if you've never used the platform before.
Accounting- it replaced QuickBooks and allowed us to process invoices for quickly including a three-way PO match.
Easy way to pull out reports and obtain valuable data
Changes to the report are challenging not easy to make
I can easy analyze the data with reports I get from Oracle
Easy of use. Easy to extract data from different dimensions.
Nothing much. Its a very productive tool.
Very user friendly. Very good for pulling report.
Analyzing data, reporting and creating dash boards
IT is a one-stop solution for the basic financial needs of our organization
Sometimes reporting out of the system could be clunky. This is the one most part that I dislike.
SOX compliance and reconciliation of our GL to Inventory, AP and AR have been very beneficial
Pros: I think that it is easy to use in a sense. We work with automotive parts, and it is very easy to track threw the stages of production.
Cons: It is hard to navigate at times, but I think it is how are IT Department has it set up.
It allows users all across the organization to upload important details and transactions that others can see and use as needed.
It takes a while to learn how to navigate and update the system.
Centralize journal entries and accrual records. This allows us to see what goes into our financial reporting database
The simplicity and productiveness of it.
That we can only have one screen open of it otherwise we are charged for it. But besides that, we enjoyed it.
Purchasing and accounting issues.
Gives many flexibilities to setup the Financial setups helping the business in daily and monthly operations
The Financial Account Generator integrated with Templates gives more flexibility to combine multiple reports in a single excel thereby providing ease in recon
There is so much flexibilities EBS Financials provide and there is no almost nothing where anyone would be disliking ...
EBS offers Financial Statement generator integrated with Templates making it more flexible to provide vast reports with more than 200 columns. This gives more flexible to reconcile rather than use multi excel sheets.
Ease in capturing the transactions
Data secured with usage of Menu's and responsibilities
Ease of use to use third party tools to load data (master as well as transactional)
Easy to navigate between AP, Procurement, GL.
It’s integration with Hubble is good
The format of output reports. Any reports you run come out in text or cvs format and require a lot of manual adjustments before they can be used in excel. Very frustrating to do it every week
Updating accounting records: invoicing, payments, 3 way match PO system. All these are great and easy to use
Pros: Oracle is an outstanding software tool that is used by myself in the financial aspect of my employment. I used three different version of Oracle Financial starting with Oracle10.7, Orcle 11i and Oracle 12. Plus the side tool like Discover Report Writing and it Logistic tools.
Cons: The selections that my management made it what they purchased from Oracle and the Support that they provided to use the tool. I saw what could be done with Oracle by other regions with in my employer. We converted from 10.7 to 11i for one of the main reason was to track and manage our capital budget which for our region was $1.1 Billion Dollars. But after the conversion we had to start all over and start from the ground. Not Oracle fault but the consultants and management fault. We even manage that budget approval process in Excel.
