No, Everlaw does not provide API.
The staff at Everlaw were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I am not a legal practitioner and am unfamiliar with the jargon and terms etc. The Everlaw team were phenomenal in providing excellent training and familiarization with terms etc.
Navigating within the tool to different functions was not intuitive. I found it challenging to remember how to get to the different functions to add data to folders. I also had a problem with the email import format that made the email content look like HTML code.
Pulling together a database, sorting into folders and preparing a production in response to a litigation.
This is one the most user friendly review platforms.
Coding analytics (sometimes its confusing)
Reviewing huge number of documents for critical litigation matters and other internal purposes. It is very easy and quick to manage big chunks of data.
I love the speed with which the documents render. And I love how quickly the searches return results. And I also love how easy it is to run a production. Best of all is the customer service when needed.
It has added features such as a word processor that lets you link to documents in the database. This is an awesome feature but it does not port over well to Word. The formatting is a mess so you he to do a lot of duplicate work if creating a word Doc.
I worked in Big Law for 25 years before going out on my own. Lacking a litigation support department I was worried about how to handle productions and reviews of productions. Everlaw is a lot easier than Relativity.
Everlaw shines over its competitors in every way. The platform gives you all of the freedom and flexibility to create your own codes, run your own productions and manage your organization without having to call in support requests which end up costing more $$. But, when/if you do need help, Everlaw support is OUTSTANDING - and it's included in your fees!. That team bends over backwards for you even at 445pm on a Friday. They are nice, knowledgeable, competent and there's never any wait time.
Honestly there are no downsides. A couple of months ago, I reported to them that really the only drawback I saw was that there was no preview of a doc in the review table - so you actually had to click into each doc to see its contents. However, they just released a new set of features that includes a preview window! They are super attentive to customer requests, obviously, and are striving to make their platform the best for every use case.
Don't hesitate! Everlaw is a great platform and a great company.
We've easily been able to handle ESI, create and share productions across multiple cases.
Everlaw's search feature allows users to pinpoint the exact documents that need to be looked at. In addition, the ability to set presets and the ease with which those presets are accessible allow for a faster and more efficient review process.
There are some occasions when the batching of review assignments can cause technical issues. Such as documents that have already been reviewed showing up in a new assignment.
As a first-time document reviewer, it is a convenient way to do an important part of litigation.
The interface is easy to use and allows me to easily organize documents.
There is very little to criticize about this product.
In my cases we have large document productions that we receive. The platform allows for the easy review and organization of the documents. Running searches is also intuitive.
Everlaw is extremely user friendly and has a lot of features.
Nothing. I can't think of anything I dislike.
Just try it. It is very easy to use.
Searching large documents is really easy in Everlaw.
Easy of use; ability to create tags on the fly; ability to easily do productions
Deposition outline formatting and conversion could be better;
Integrate into Agilelaw.com (deposition software), Clio (doc management), and Trial Pad (trial presentation software)
Saves time and money
The customer care and technical support is excellent. The training exceptional - much like the product itself. The search function is much easier than other platforms I have used and the tagging system very effective.
I have not come across any element that I have found difficult to navigate. It is so much better than other more expensive options.
You will not regret the switch. Storybook feature is excellent and really useful to receive instructions from clients and provide instructions to counsel.
Communication with other users in particular clients and counsel is a great benefit. It is excellent for working with the new initial disclosure protocols.
