What are the best aspects of this product?

This particular tool, named Service Trade, is the perfect tool for our business to ensure that all appointments are booked and followed right on time. It gives all our field technicians the capability to look at their schedules way ahead of time to plan their routes and manage their time. Suppose they are having a hard time looking for the address. In that case, they can look for it using digital maps that help complete more work for the day. Suppose a client calls in and asking for urgent help. It's easy for us to reassign a tech for an emergency visit. Whenever we need to move an appointment later, we can always reach out to our clients and apologize for the delay.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The only main challenge that I have encountered while using this platform is rescheduling or moving appointments from one date to another. Sometimes clients would call us at the last minute to cancel because something came up, so we have no choice but to move it to a more convenient date. The process is quite complicated, so I hope that they could create a way to simplify things to avoid errors on our end. We raised this issue before, and they said that they are trying to solve it as fast as possible.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We no longer miss out on appointments because we have already entered all the details via Service Trade. We ensure that all our techs are deployed to their respective locations right on time to avoid making a client feel disappointed or angry. Each fieldworker is assigned a tablet to check out customer profiles, write notes, make follow-ups, and send direct invoices to clients.

What are the best aspects of this product?

No need to worry about losing any essential records because we now store them using Service Trade. One glance at their records, and we can quickly determine what problems they have and how to fix them.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

This app has made a significant contribution to turning around our customer experience from five to ten. We were able to address their complaints and help ease their frustration.

Helping other people with their issues is being done calmly and systematically. CSAT scores have improved so much since we started consistently using Service Trade.

Daily tasks are now being completed on time. There are no more worries about backlogs, which is one of the reasons that slows us down.

Challenges in terms of billing our clients can be quite cumbersome. So I'm hoping to see some positive changes moving forward.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Our business needs to gain more clients for us to expand in the future. For this to happen, we need to find ways to become competitive and deliver better and faster services to our clients. Thankfully we found out about ServiceTrade, and it changed our lives tremendously. This software's primary purpose is to keep our items and appointments well organized to ensure that our workforce would cater to all of our client's needs within a specific period.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I find this app pretty amusing because, overall, it exceeds my expectations by delivering quality work to our clients. But if you would ask me if there is something that I don't like about the app itself, then I think it would be the adjustment period. You see, at first glance, the app looks simple to use, but once you start to explore each tab, things can get more complicated. The good thing is that the company offers free training to employees and there are many learning materials that we could watch in our spare time.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Before shifting to ServiceTrade, we are used to doing our business the traditional way. Meaning we keep customer records in filing cabinets. We use logbooks to set appointments. We file index cards for our suppliers' contact information. I can't believe how our competitors already leave behind our company in terms of technology and innovation. Since my partners are also not tech-savvy, most of us were hesitant to make a significant move by trying ServiceTrade. One of our employees told us that it would not hurt to see how things will work for us. There was a free trial, so we decided to take advantage of the software, and it was a real eye-opener for everyone. It made us realize that technology indeed plays a significant role in business development and improved customer service. We were able to book more home appointments, deal with suppliers faster, and efficiently solve problems. With the help of Service Trade, we are confident that we can gain more clients in the following months to contribute significantly to our company expansion.

What are the best aspects of this product?

It's one of the most straightforward tools that was introduced to our office. It keeps files more organized, and we never missed an appointment moving forward.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The software is capable of doing a lot of things that improve our company from a business standpoint. However, you need more time to learn how it functions, but it's all worth the effort if you do.

It helps me keep all information consolidated in one software. We were able to organize all our records in no time, which helped us sell more products easily.

What do you like best?

Service Trade understands the needs of service contractors today. Many of us (contractors) are simply not plugged in to the highly valuable technology platforms that we desperately need to compete in the service industry. They have assembled a software platform that is easy to use, easy to learn and yet, provides AMAZING tools that most service companies and contractors could never conceptualize, let alone build, implement and support. They are accessible and interested in my success as a contractor.

What do you dislike?

There is not much I do not like about Service Trade. If I were talking to a friend about Service Trade, I would say that some of my employees faced a bit of a leaning curve to get through. One cannot simply sign up and never work again. They offer live human U.S. based training (a deal sealer for me), training videos, a trouble ticket system, on screen walk through and a growing knowledge center. Like any cutting edge technology, it is exciting to learn, and WELL worth the effort.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely consider these guys as an option for your service company. The truly understand our needs and have created a beautiful platform that they are always improving on! The system is OPEN API which means that you can manipulate your data using outside programs. Unless your company is running 100% smoothly on an automated software platform, I suggest you give these guys a shot.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company went from a literal shoe box full of index cards to Service Trade. It was such an abrupt jump in technology our heads were left spinning. There are so many benefits to using Service Trade that it is difficult to lay them all out. The best way to describe it this. If our company were a car, we went from square wheels to round wheels. Everything just runs smoother and almost all our information is accessible from anywhere.

When evaluating this software, be sure an read their companion book The Digital Wrap. Service Trade is not just a software, it is a re-conceptualization of how contractors do business in the world. There is a philosophy that goes along with elevating your position in the truck/technician based service marketplace. The evasive reality of the situation is that by employing the Service Trade philosophy and technology, not only does business get much easier to do, but your customers are better served and happier. Both your and your customers lives get easier, happier and more enriched.

What do you like best?

Service Trade is a great platform for organizing and upgrading and branding your service-based company.

What do you dislike?

As a side effect of the robust nature of the software, there is a learning curve involved in mastering the software. Fortunately, training is offered.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you still run on paper and excel spreadsheets to stay organized, it is time to switch. Consider this company as a great alternative to whatever you are doing now. I think they are great!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am better able to track my customer's data and needs. I now make more sales per customer than previously due to the trackability of individual jobs.

Time clocking for payroll, dispatching,it's modern day approach has made our service work visible to the customer with pictures/videos all combined within the digital experience which is todays customers demand.
