Maesn is a unified API built for software vendors whose customers keep their books in accounting or ERP systems. Instead of writing and maintaining a separate connector for every system, product teams integrate once against Maesn and gain access to more than 30 platforms, among them DATEV, Lexware Office, sevdesk, Exact Online, Xero, QuickBooks Online, Visma e-conomic and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Every system is exposed through the same common data model. Invoices, contacts, ledger accounts and payments arrive in one structure regardless of the source, so engineers write their mapping logic a single time. Maesn also takes over the tedious parts of each connection: authentication across OAuth, API keys and database credentials, pagination, filtering, error handling and change notifications for systems that lack native webhooks. The integrations run white label, which means end customers link their accounting system inside the vendor's own product and never see a third-party brand. A customer portal, a data explorer and a built-in API testing tool help developers build and debug quickly, and an MCP server makes the same data available to AI agents. Maesn is an official DATEV partner, ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. The platform is hosted in Germany and handles requests live, with no persistent storage of end-customer data. Pricing is a flat fee per connected customer rather than per API call, and teams can validate their use case in a free proof of concept before committing.
