What is Segmentation?

The process of separating a market into distinct consumer groups with similar characteristics is known as segmentation, and it's an important part of any customer strategy. Customer and participant segmentation enables a company to decide which consumers are the most profitable and how best to sell to them while still delivering outstanding service. An organization may then use this information to decide which investments would yield the best results.
