What do you like best?

It's a great place for team engagement. I use it to measure the team feeling and also KPIs of engagement and general team satisfaction.

What do you dislike?

Nothing - the only thing I would have said is to give the option for non.anonymous surveys, which was implemented.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

team engagement and satisfaction. We have seen a growth in team understanding of goals, priorities and general job satisfaction.

(Reviewed on 12 May 2020) "Powerful & flexible employee voice platform at any scale"

What do you like best?

The ability to quickly gather and sort feedback. We all have spent countless hours inefficiently gathering qualitative feedback from stakeholders, only to then many more countless hours trying to determine themes while prioritizing importance. This makes something as simple as asking, receiving and prioritizing feedback more difficult as scale increases. Waggl simplifies this feedback cycle through technology and an innovative approach to sorting and prioritizing the employee voice.

What do you dislike?

There's very little to dislike about the platform. Primarily, it requires a commitment to be more inclusive and transparent when gathering and sorting through the feedback to any question. Conveniently, this is very much on-trend with more progressive cultures and management styles.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Most leaders desire and seek feedback on a wide range of topics. For smaller teams, this is achieved by just asking the people on the team. At larger scale, typical surveys take time to create and deploy, and the volume of responses then need to be sorted. Was a comment made by one employee just a comment? Or a main theme? Our own biases come into play when reviewing and synthesizing hundreds/thousands of comments. Waggl does an amazing job pairing comments and allowing participants to upvote those that resonate most with the crowd. This ensures that themes are not lost and the most important/valuable pieces of feedback rise to the top for consideration and action planning.

(Reviewed on 16 April 2020) "Fantastic tool that enables the collective voice to come through loud and clear!"

What do you like best?

This tool is simple and engaging to use. Our employees have grown very fond of using their digital voices by "waggling" on important topics. Previous to adopting WAGGL, it was very tedious and time consuming to gather the collective voice of our staff. But through the use of digital focus groups, WAGGL provides a massive shortcut to not only hear the voices of our employees, but more importantly to take timely action based on that voice. This has been an game changer as we deliberately work on continually optimizing the employee experience and executing on our corporate strategy.

What do you dislike?

Currently, the functionality does not allow for multiple choice questions, which can be limiting at times.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

WAGGL is enabling us to more fully engage the collective voice of our staff to create the future--something that we always wanted to do before, but could never fully maximize due to logistics. Our employees are on the front lines, and are closest to the customers. Their feedback is priceless, and WAGGL has allowed us to better leverage their voices to create solutions that will resonate and stick.

(Reviewed on 12 April 2020) "Expert Support and Guidance paired with fantastic technology"

What do you like best?

Alex and his team have helped us quickly implement the tool - in a matter of days - to understand how to best support our employees during this crisis. They were able to help us figure out easy ways to cover global audiences with different needs and languages.

What do you dislike?

Nothing to share, we haven't identified any significant issues.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Identifying topics and issues to prioritize related to COVID crisis. Our senior leaders have appreciated the summary of prioritized results. Our employees and leaders have appreciated the experience of the tool and transparency of results.

(Reviewed on 11 February 2020) "Super easy, immediate results"

What do you like best?

The tool is easy to use and there is fantastic support from the Waggl team. I like how you can see all the ideas being shared and see how people are voting while the pulse is open, and then get a great summary of results with key themes after it's done.

What do you dislike?

I don't dislike anything; wish there were a user group so ideas could be shared, but in lieu of that, the support team is great at sharing how other organizations are using Waggl

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Strongly recommend putting single sign-on into place so users do not have to create an account, worry about a password, etc. We implemented single sign-on so our employees were quickly able to use the tool and it worked great.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Hearing directly from employees on topics that impact their work lives. One Waggl pulse we did last year on how to use Slack garnered thousands of ideas and votes, and we are still, a year later, using those results to make decisions about strategic use of the Slack tool to improve employee alignment, connection, and affinity.

(Reviewed on 03 February 2020) "Major General (Retired)"

What do you like best?

Waggl is fast, intuitive, anonymous, insightful information and data that allows leaders or managers at all levels of an organization the opportunity to tap into the "wisdom of the system." This is unique to Waggl alone in my experience - all leaders work hard to effectively communicate with their teams, but all too often this takes the form of "town hall" or other large group sessions, where many don't feel empowered to speak up, despite the great ideas or inputs they may have. Waggl affords you the opportunity for REAL communication, without filters or fears - and, for those Senior leaders willing to take the challenge - the opportunity to be an active listening partner in those communications.

What do you dislike?

Waggl provides insightful data, but some employees may mistake it for the idea of a democratic vote. Senior leadership must build trust among all subordinates to encourage the anonymous inputs without creating a sense that leadership will "do whatever" the majority of the Waggl pulse data suggest - there are times when the input must be rejected or just isn't possible - and that can build cynicism among some teammates.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Senior leaders or managers must be sincere about soliciting and wanting the feedback information and data - the value is lost if any Senior leader or manager is merely "filling the square" and pretending to engage. If the information is really desired and accepted with an open mind - it's invaluable.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Past tense. We solved a multitude of complex problems with the first Waggl pulse, and continued to build on that experience to refine and continue to accelerate organizational successes via successive pulses. Faced with a complex merger and acquisition effort that consolidated dozens of federal agencies Information Technology and Cybersecurity functions, Waggl proved essential in that effort. Benefits included organizational goals, faster decisions for roles and responsibilities, significant savings and efficiencies, improved operations, and most importantly - positively affecting the culture of the merged organizations to begin working together as one.

(Reviewed on 01 February 2020) "Simple, powerful listening for active inclusion"

What do you like best?

There are two things that stand out for me: (1) The ease with which I can "listen" to what a large group of people has to say and do it in a way that makes it clear what's most important; (2) Waggl is incredibly easy to use. Do you have an excellent question you'd like to ask? Start with that and it'll take you 5 minutes to have a pulse ready and sent to the group of people you'd like to hear.

What do you dislike?

I wish I had something that I dislike (because I feel like it would make this review more credible.) But, there's nothing I don't like. It's enormously powerful and simple.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I have recommended Waggl to many companies and was often asked whether it can really be as easy to use and powerful as I say it is. My answer: "Absolutely!" Many of those companies are now avid users of Waggl as well. I'm happy to answer questions about it and my history of using it. What I love is not Waggl itself, but what Waggl allows me to do with ease -- listen to everybody, tap into the power of a thousand brains rather than just a few.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have used Waggl as a platform to understand issues with difficult issues such as "risk aversion in a group of 4,000 people", to listen to what a group of people would find most meaningful for an agenda for 800 people from dozens of companies, or tapping into community understanding of the "purpose of the community." I've also used this platform for real-time brainstorming with a globally distributed team.

(Reviewed on 23 January 2020) "Amazing Partnership"

What do you like best?

They support our programs in lock step with us. They are truly our partners and the level of service is top notch.

What do you dislike?

We've been with them since the beginning, and there have been a couple of growing pains as with any new company- but they're quick to provide service recovery and are transparent about where they are growing to.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

How to capture authentic feedback from our employees, quickly. Benefits include transparency and live results for our managers (removing HR from process)

(Reviewed on 21 January 2020) "Engaging, unique, and intuitive platform"

What do you like best?

Waggl is unique in that it allows for leaders to crowd-source information from its employees. The platform is MUCH more interesting than a typical survey, for both users and leaders alike. The platform is also very intuitive, easy for an employee to understand and navigate.

What do you dislike?

Some leaders are nervous about the transparency that Waggl relies on. Staff are able to view the anonymous answers of their peers and vote on their answers. This is engaging for users, but perhaps off-putting for leaders who are worried about the results.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give it a shot! It's a fantastic, innovative tool. Plus everyone I've spoken with within Waggl has been top-notch.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Waggl is changing the game of employee feedback. Teams can discuss the anonymous results of a Pulse immediately, as the results can be viewed in real time. As a larger, more corporate company, there was certainly an adjustment period to the tool to get people on-board and trusting. The more nimble your company is, the adoption will likely be easier.
