What do you like best?
Earning rewards for making cost conscious travel decisions for the company. The company benefits and I earn rewards for it. I also love that I can choose to earn the rewards in Amazon credits. The places I've stayed have been fantastic, even when I have earned Amazon credits for my stays. I also love that I don't have to submit expense reports when booking my flights through TripActions because our company has a credit card on file and has set travel approval settings. If something falls out of the automatic approval settings, I've found it is an easy process to submit an approval request.
What do you dislike?
The places I would like to stay at are not always listed in TripActions. Some airlines are also not options through TripActions. I guess another potential downside could be that when I book my flights and hotel stays through the company credit card on file, I may miss out on my own personal reward points on my credit card. However, I think the Amazon credits I tend to earn by making cost conscious decisions is way more than I would earn in redeemable points by putting expenses on my own credit card. Plus, I don't have to worry about submitting expense reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend TripActions! One thing I would recommend is training employees and helping them see the benefits of using Trip Actions.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
All business travel accommodations are done in one place. It is super easy to book my travel and saves me a ton of time. Additionally, I don't have to book my travel on my personal credit card - the company has its card on file that I use. So, it also saves me time not having to fill out and submit expense reports. I also appreciate that I'm rewarded for being cost conscious in my travel purchase decisions. It helps align my actions with the company in wanting to help save money on travel expenses.
