We have been a customer several years (more than 1k employees) and they have consistency in releasing new features, allow you to color code scrum teams (or other organizational sub teams) with place holders for functional areas, not just people (or roles).
Runs a little slow at times with the larger orgs and several people in at the same time, but that seems to have gotten better.
We regularly use the tool to adjust our scrum teams and the rest of our entire organization
I loved the way I could customize the chartPros. Easy to use and nice looking are the main advantage of Organimi. If you've struggle building organograms in Excel, powerpoint or other softs, try Organimi and you'll adopt it. The V5 version is definitely faster and easier to use. And bugs seems much less present than in previous versions.
I had trouble uploading certain documents, and photos. As every new software, some bugs are still present. The main weak point of previous versions were the "printing" and "exporting" feature, not working well with big organization. However, it seems that V5 version is far more advanced concerning these features. New pricing scheme is also much more adapted in this new version. Integration with Linkedin pictures is already great but could be improved even more (customer is never satisfied !). The drag and drop for changing people from one department to another seems working less well than previous versions....but I consider it a minor defect compared to the other big improvements.
We have found Organimi to be really easy to use - adding and removing employees is a breeze, uploading pictures and contact information is customizable, and reconfiguring the charts to reflect our constantly evolving organization is quick and foolproof.
Helped set a defined hierarchy/responsibility in our company. Backup of the information, Spead, easy versioning of different organograms...
Ease of creation/modification and overall presentation
I wish there were more ability to customize the chart, maybe floating title boxes that could be moved around an entire graphing background.
This product is easy to set up and even better, easy to modify/update with headcount changes. Highly recommended product.
Employees didn't know who other employees were, much less what department they worked in. There is more employee interaction.
I like how the system separates people from positions so if people move around to different positions you simply switch who hold the position. I also like how you can visually see your company and how your spending your dollars in resources to see if your getting the necessary ROI. The system is easy to learn and easy to use.
I only have one issue with the product and that is for those positions that service multiple people there is no easy way to represent that. In other-wards, if you have an executive assistant for two executives their is no effective way to show that other than some dotted line concept. I think this is more common than one thinks. In our company we have a service manager who works for different product lines and I can't easily show this position using Organimi.

Can't quite get things to fit on a page the way I want when printing for presentation. Have had to download as PDF then manipulate in Photoshop to get it just right. Would be nice to have the ability to sorta freely move pieces around, then maybe a "snap to grid" option to clean it up.
When discussing reorganization it has been immensely helpful to copy the current org chart, then quickly move roles and staff around to see how things would look practically.
We've also used some of the custom fields to denote people who are retiring or have a contract that is ending, then include the date. A nice thing to have listed on the card when looking at the chart as a whole.
For people who serve on different teams that aren't a "department" we can color code them and/or use a custom field to denote the team.
The Google integration is a luxury with Organimi. It's very simple, easy to use, and easy to setup.
It doesn't have some of the sophistication as others. But, much of that is not needed anyway.
We provide org charts to our Board monthly. They are easy to see and track trends with this. It is great.
I like that I can put both my US and international team on the same chart.
Does not allow my managers to change the specific part of org. That may be available in upgraded version.

Interactive features that help those new to HR or seasoned professionals to quickly learn and adapt. Each of the menus are easy to navigate and have great rules in place to ensure that setup also changes the way you organize your business. The tool is also a quick way to go from no org chart to a full org chart for your executive team. Implementation can be done by a simple one hour training after watching videos on how to import and use the product.
The organization chart, when imported, alphabetizes the names and when you try to move them into the correct order it create new relationships that do not exist. If there was a way to import a job chart first and then names to follow, that would solve this problem.

I really like the simplicity of creating org charts with Organimi! Charts are crisp, clean and professional!
Organimi does lack customization in some areas.
