"Active directory"

What do you like best?

It is very handy to have all of our security managed in a centralized way that makes it easy to the user. As a user I don't need to worry about authentication, but focus on developing areas that add more value.

It allows me to move between application with ease without multiple sign ons.

Managing privileges and policies is fairly easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It is not flexible or customizable for specific needs. It only manages Microsoft accounts in the same domain.

At first it is not so intuitive to implement and the benefits are only clear or measurable when you have more than 50 users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make use of user groups for a better management of access and privileges amongst users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have strict security protocols and wanted an app that helped us manage these protocols to make it easy for the user and easy for our department to maintain and manage. It provided Huge time savings and you made sure we were compliant with all of the security Protocols of the company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great token for the security and user profiles in the Microsoft environment"

What do you like best?

Microsoft Azure Active Directory has enabled and secured our applications. The user profiles can be synced here and even from active directory. The Azure Active Directory is multi tenant supported which is best part I liked about this service. It is an Identity as a service which maintains the profiles and data credentials of the users. SSPR is one great tool where in we enable password reset portal for our tenant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

User Interface can be improved so that it will be more user friendlier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Best options for SSPR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have Azure Active Directory for our tenant which is working like a charm and it is more sketchy when we need the need the information which is available all in one place. Also because of its integration of Active directory we are now less oriented to use of on-premise. Its really a wonderful solution provided by Microsoft. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Azure surrounds almost every possible domain used in business and technology management."

What do you like best?

This is cloud based center that leads us to several leading ways that are needed in framework for industrial as well as computer networking. Before when such applications came, a person wanting to develop a certain application needed investments for buying different servers for storing data and guarding it along with specified network that can work solely for this application. But now a person can gain more profits with small upfront fee by only getting Microsoft Azure Active Directory that covers huge amount of data storing and can enter into large number of collection of servers. Now a person can refract a coding system and graphical layouts as well as connect two applications with each other through programming interface. Virtualize the computing system and streamlining the contents regarding mass media can be done as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The negative factors of this application is that it is only web controlling and cannot be installed on android, Mac and Windows that is needed for reforming. Log in capabilities are somewhat buggy and needs to be dealt with. The customer services and support needs to be further evaluated and well explained for better comprehension. It is a bit expensive for beginners and modeling a certain data needs to further improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The performance of Microsoft Azure Active Directory is fine and covers the parameters of essential computing system techniques. It hosts every kind of app development and marketing with server testing and enhancing functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Setup a test environment prior to implementation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's helping our clients using Exchange or Exchange Online in conjunction with Office 365 in a hybrid cloud scenario, where all or part of the email service is hosted in an on-premises data center while the other resources are hosted in the cloud. Azure AD Connect will recognize additional schema attributes that indicate an Exchange installation and will automatically synchronize these attributes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Just like your on prem, but better"

What do you like best?

I like that most of the backward compatibility things are still present and that once you know the basics of AD from the old time, your transition into the cloud is greatly simplified. Although having packaged software, can induce cost - it is actually preemptive protection based, and very good.

What do you dislike?

I don't like packaged software and license deals, but with great flexibility comes great packaging. That could be better. Concerns about software being to pushy and keeping too much of the data.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Consider what level of integration to your on prem you need, do you even need it (if you are a new company), what are your concerns and legal obligations.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Pay as you go, easy to scale, easy compatibility (if you follow MS rules) - so yeah, not bad at all.
