Is PaidInvoice free?

Yes. PaidInvoice has a free forever plan with no time limit and no credit card required. It includes core invoicing, saved clients, PDF downloads and basic templates, with a monthly invoice limit. You can upgrade to Starter, Pro or Business whenever you need more.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. You can start on the free plan or try a paid plan free for 14 days without entering card details. You only pay if you decide to keep a paid plan after your trial.

Can I switch my plan anytime?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your account settings at any time. Changes apply straight away and billing is prorated, so you only pay for what you use. You can cancel anytime.

Can I create invoices with AI?

Yes. Just type or speak a description of the work and the client, and the AI assistant builds a complete, ready-to-send invoice with line items and descriptions. You can review and edit everything before sending. The AI assistant is included on the Pro and Business plans.

Can I download PDF invoices?

Yes. Every invoice can be downloaded as a professional PDF on every plan, including Free. You can also send invoices by email or share them with a secure link.

Can I accept payments online?

Yes. Every invoice can include a secure payment link so clients can pay by card or bank transfer in a couple of clicks. You get notified as soon as an invoice is paid, and its status updates automatically.

How do I get paid through PaidInvoice?

Connect your Stripe account and payments go straight to your bank. Clients pay through a secure hosted checkout using card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. PaidInvoice doesn't add any fees on top of Stripe's standard processing fees.

Can I customise my invoice templates?

Yes. Choose from 50+ invoice designs, from clean and minimal to bold and creative, then add your logo, brand colours and business details. A live preview shows your changes as you make them, and paid plans let you remove PaidInvoice branding.

Can I export reports for my accountant?

Yes. Export clean CSV and PDF summaries in one click, or send an Accountant Pack with a clear breakdown of paid, unpaid and overdue invoices. The Accountant Pack is available on the Business plan.

Do I need accounting knowledge to use PaidInvoice?

Not at all. PaidInvoice is built for business owners, not accountants. There's no jargon or clutter - if you can fill in a simple form, you can create and send a professional invoice.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and your clients' information is never shared with third parties. Online payments are handled securely by Stripe.

Can I invoice in different currencies?

Yes. PaidInvoice supports multi-currency billing, including GBP, USD and EUR, so you can invoice clients wherever they are.
