What do you like best?

Simple to communicate and collaborate with others using that same application.Gives people with some capacity for editing real-time documents

What do you dislike?

It don't have the kind of power over design or pagination requires for a paper you plan to publish.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Also try if you have never used online word and few other text editors. It becomes even more user-friendly and it has the same, if not more, right to download!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Storage and uploading files with efficient editing capability

(Reviewed on 21 May 2020) "Easy collaboration and drafting; saves time on formatting"

What do you like best?

Dropbox is a cloud-based file system that enables easy collaboration. You can create, draft and share anything from a quick to-do list to product specifications to content marketing materials to legal documents. Your documents are "living" and you can track changes and view earlier versions. No more file names like planning_doc_final_FINAL_FINAL(2).docx

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it can be difficult to see which team mate contributed which sections/edits. Small edits from colleagues can sneak in unnoticed without being cited. More significant edits, however, are attributed to the user who made them.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Set up a file system so you can find documents easily.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Drafting go-to-market plans for product launches. Press releases. Guidelines and documentation. "Brain dumps". The benefits of Dropbox paper is its flexibility. A paper document can start as and become anything. A vast brainstorming doc with input from 10 coworkers can turn into a polished proposal. It's lean and effective.

What do you like best?

What I like best about this software is the fact that it is easy to use and set up. I also like the fact that you can use it from anywhere in the world and make a document live with another person at any time of day. I also like the fact that it is affordable. That's what I like most about this software.

What do you dislike?

What I like least about this software is the fact that it takes a while to load on slow connections. I also feel that more features can be added to this software. Otherwise everything is Amazing which is why I love this software.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This is great software since it is affordable, easy to use, and time efficient.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This software is appsolutly great. It has many benefits such as the fact that it would make any company look professional. Another benefit is you can work with anyone from anywhere.

(Reviewed on 19 April 2020) "Dropbox Paper is a powerful alternative for document editing"

What do you like best?

I like Dropbox Paper for different reasons:

- The appearance of the interface is modern and easy to use.

- It is compatible with different devices such as laptops, tablets or mobile phones.

- It has a function for automatic saving of documents.

- I can collaborate with other members of my team and comment on the pages of the documents.

- You can keep a version control of the documents.

What do you dislike?

I have nothing negative to say regarding the operation of Dropbox Paper. This software has been a very useful alternative for the collaboration of documents in the cloud in our organization.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

A simple and intuitive platform. It is compatible with different formats and with support for different devices. I recommend Dropbox Paper.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Dropbox Paper is currently a fundamental tool for document collaboration in our organization. We usually manage technical service documentation and users can exchange ideas or take notes. The biggest benefit is that we can implement this application on different devices, so we can quickly access it from anywhere.

(Reviewed on 14 April 2020) "Simple concept with high potential"

What do you like best?

Dropbox paper offered an easy way for my team to collaboratively take and share notes. BY using Paper we are better at keeping track of meetings action items and are able to get more work done. At current the offering is a very simple collaborative note-taking app but the team at Dropbox seem to be adding new features quite often which provide even more uses.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike outside of its simplicity. If you are looking for something with a multitude of features I would not recommend it yet. The only other small gripe I have is with the interface for moving around tables/graphics. Sometimes it just doesn't seem to let me drop things where I want. This is a small concern but worth noting as it can be cumbersome.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are already paying for Dropbox and need a lean but collaborative note taking app that easy to access from any device then I would recommend using it right away.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Paper has been a go to resource for my team when are taking meeting notes specifically during client meetings. We also use it for internal meeting notes as well. It has a simple system for creating check lists and referencing documents that are stored in Dropbox. We are then able to refer to these notes and create lists of action items. Furthermore, we can share these notes with clients and allow them to collaborate as well.

(Reviewed on 11 April 2020) "I love how simple it is"

What do you like best?

Dropbox Paper has cool features that stand out from other softwares, and the interface when I'm creating a document is very pretty. What I mean with this is that it makes me actually want to write, increases my productivity and it's one of the main factors why I keep using this software. The collaboration tools are always updated to keep up with new trends and I can share and comment on projects that my other teammates are working on. I feel like this software has many features that are not seen in other documents collaboration softwares, such as being able to create tasks that are related to the project and assign them to one or multiple people at the same time. It also comes with other tools such as tracking these said tasks and knowing if they're completed or not and assign due dates.

What do you dislike?

I would love to be able to create tasks in general without having to assign them to someone specific and being able to see them on the board that's beside the opened document for better viewing of the project.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

My best advice is to just start using this software!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Like I mentioned before, Dropbox Paper increases my productivity and makes me write way lot more than before when I was not using it, so that's a really good pro. I find the features to be really good, and I can even change these to operate in a presentation mode (even though I don't use that option that much, it's good to know that it's there so I can always use it whenever I need to!). Another thing that I have found really good is that this software is great for viewing documents while on the go; because the mobile app is very interactive and does not lack important features, I can use it as if I was using the desktop app and still get the same results!

(Reviewed on 22 November 2019) "First best simplified Word editor"

What do you like best?

The first thing that amazed at DropBox Paper was the speed, simplicity and friendliness of the interface. I was attracted by the layout and style of the page. I find Paper to be a cute collaborative editor.

I love the fact that when I select a text and then paste the link while having the text selected, it becomes a link. Most other tools don't give this feature.

The commenting panel and task assigning are straightforward to understand.

What do you dislike?

I find quite hard to find the documents I need. Dropbox itself is organizing the files much better. Perhaps showing the Paper files in Dropbox in a similar manner might help.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you already are a DropBox user, you will love Paper for the simplicity and beauty of style. If you are looking to share your videos and images to someone or having someone commenting your document, this simple tool is excellent.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I love Paper for writing notes and guides, and showing porfolio-like pages. I love making to-do lists and assigning them to my colleagues.

(Reviewed on 20 November 2019) "Great way to collaborate with peers"

What do you like best?

I like how each person can add their 2 cents and it is presented in a clear and concise way.

What do you dislike?

I don't like the way the different iterations are presented. They could have found a cleaner way to present older versions of a file.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I can get approval on a project from my higher-ups in a clean and easy way where everyone is on the same page.

(Reviewed on 19 November 2019) "Great Tool for Organizing and Sharing Notes/Feedback"

What do you like best?

It is very easy to share notes with coworkers and organizing projects

I love the look of the notes

It is great to be able to tag coworkers in notes

Being able to access all my notes at work and at home with their mobile app

The ability to search notes for keywords is extremely helpful when you don't remember exactly where something is within your paper notes

What do you dislike?

Can't sort columns like you are able to in excel, and there are some formatting options that are not very user friendly

Would like to be able to customize the page itself more

Make it easier to organize within Dropbox app itself- I would like the folder to live within dropbox team folders not in the separate paper area

The mobile paper app is hard to take notes on because you must click edit each time you go out of the app before you can add more notes and re-click on the appropriate document

It is great to be able to share paper documents on an as needed basis- this means we do not need a separate server area for these notes

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Consider if you need to enter a lot of numbers based data. I would not recommend for that.

I would think it would be harder to use with a large number of users

Number of users per team

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A place for brainstorming when we do not have a good physical space for it

Benefits are organizing notes

Sharing information with coworkers

Commenting/Feedback to users

The ability to keep track of plans, events, and ideas

Sharing items with companies we outsource work on. It is a great area to compile all of the communication needed there and with Dropbox as well a great place for sharing files and images
