About AWS Chatbot

AWS Chatbot is an interactive agent that enables users to easily monitor and interact with their AWS resources in Slack channels and Amazon Chime chat rooms. The chatbot enables users to receive alerts and then to run the necessary commands for returning diagnostic data and information. It also helps to invoke the AWS Lambda functions, as well as to create AWS support cases, thus helping the team of users to collaborate and respond to relevant events much faster. The software enables users to set permissions for individual chat rooms quickly, and pre-defined permission templates make it easy to tailor for the needs of the organization. Users can receive notifications about operational incidents and other events from supported sources such as security alerts, operational alarms, or budget deviations. AWS Chatbot supports read-only commands for most AWS services which makes it easy to retrieve diagnostic information about the AWS resources of the user from Slack on desktop and mobile devices. The chatbot provides chat room specific permission controls through AWS Identity Access Management.
