"Great product "

What do you like best?

The filtering options were very helpful to keep mentions organized and easy to reference. Additionally, the option to download mention data into an Excel file supported the analysis of the data captured by Awario. After the initial learning curve, the software was also fairly easy to use. The educational materials on Awario's website, especially related to using the Boolean searches, were very beneficial when first learning to use this software.

What do you dislike?

There was a very steep learning curve when fist learning to use the software, so it took a bit of trial and error and a decent amount of time to get the hang of things.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Awario helped to determine consumer perspectives of a CPG product. This information was then used to create strategic marketing suggestions and solve consumer problems and address negative perceptions.

"awario is a good software that could use minor improvements."

What do you like best?

The consolidation of social media results to one platform. It made going through results smooth and easy.

What do you dislike?

awario's results were helpful, but the filters had to be exact to find anything helpful at all. It seemed easier to use my personal social media profiles to find optimal results. This is not a reason I would not use awario, but I feel it is an opportunity for growth.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Learning the boolean filtering will allow you to establish a quality project.

"A resourceful and thorough software for social media listening"

What do you like best?

The most helpful part of Awario is its ability to scoop key words and details from various social media platforms.

Initially learning how to use the platform was challenging but well worth it.

"A great tool for marketing research"

What do you like best?

Awario is a extremely helpful tool that can help you find any form of mentions regarding a product or service you work for. It gathers information from a variety of sites, acting as a far more efficient alternative to looking up the product or service through the web.

What do you dislike?

No dislikes to report, but I will give a warning. It can have a tendency to get overloaded with responses, but the worst that has brought me is the software wouldn't update for a few days.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With Awario, I was able to find all the customer and social media references I needed, in half the time.

"Great software for tracking a given product... however needs ease of use to be greater."

What do you like best?

The best part of tracking the information you need through charts and graphs that make it easy to understand what information you are gathering.

What do you dislike?

The constant information coming through makes it hard to keep track or stay on track with the information that is given to you. Sometimes it was hard to understand what some of the information that Awario was picking up was meaning to me.

Easy to use software to gather information of a topic of your choosing.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Solving problems such as a better understanding of the consumer from awario is great as it eases on the extensive research I would have to do without it.

"Great product, very helpful"

What do you like best?

The "NOT" feature. I found it so helpful in removing noise.

What do you dislike?

Once the limit is reached, it throws out the old comments. I'd rather it stop collecting all together, because when writing the report, I wanted to access old comments that had been thrown out.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The customer service is an 11/10. One of the employees Skyped to give me a demo when I was confused about how to use the software. Not only did she take time out of her day to do it, but it was 1 PM my time, and 10 PM her time. Never had such dedication!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I used Awario to conduct a project on Patagonia with the end goal of learning what drives a customer to buy Patagonia, or what drives them away from it

I liked that whatever product you wanted to gather data on, it wouldn't take long.

"Great to get a different perspective on research"

What do you like best?

See all the channels in social media and look for key words to get great data.

What do you dislike?

I did not like how the layout of the app was designed. The feed was very small and was hard to keep track off. Also would like more data/metric options if possible.

I am solving the problem of looking for qualitative data and turn it into quantitative data. Some benefits I have noticed are the ability to look and search for key words.

"Lots of data, limited ways to adequately filter, not as useful as we had hoped."

What do you like best?

We can monitor the web for mentions of our company, competitors, and potentially those who are in need of our services.

What do you dislike?

We have a wealth of data, too much to be honest, and trying to filter through it, eliminate what is not useful, is an arduous process that doesn't seem to end. I personally have spent hours, even with reps, trying to narrow down the focus, but it can still be thousands per day. Also, a "new" feature that was added trying to show leads, it's only accurate about 10-15% of the time.

As perviously mentioned, vast amounts of data to be culled through, not really an easy way to do that with all the babbling that goes on online. It hasn't been a bad tool, just not a terribly useful one as was hoped.

"User for a year"

What do you like best?

I enjoy the visuals the most about Awario. There are several almost interactive functions within the app or desktop site. I loved seeing where our followers, influencers, and users are, all over the world! As you scroll your mouse around, different information and pop-ups will appear! Making the site more fun than work.

What do you dislike?

I did dislike it's sort of vague-ness. Some of the metrics seem either pointless or lack depth. The reporting was fine however. Also, you can only fine-tune your searches so much so you may get irrelevant notifications or results. For instance, if a Twitter user has a similar name to yours, their tweets will show in your feed

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If finding where your shoppers, users, followers, infulencers, mentions are located, Awario is right for you.

We wanted to see everything that mentioned our company name. Awario helped us crawl the world wide web for just that.
