This software is great and works extremely well with CRM. It shows you how many sales you have won or lost over any given period of time and also awards you badges for closing Tasks, etc.
I haven't used it long enough to find any dislikes.
In an odd way, this little app actually does "motivate you" in the sales world.
The user Interface!
It is quite neat and easy to use. Plus the integration, as I am on a Zoho One. Everything is seamless and is quite automated.
As someone who didn't expect gaining an access to a tool like Zoho Motivator, I personally found nothing to dislike. There are definite areas of improvements, mild buggy instances, etc.
But overall, it's a great tool.
Zoho Motivator has been a really great tool to work with, but will now be upgraded/replaced with another one - Zoho Gamescope which by Zoho only.
The integration remains seamless with very, very minor random glitches which can be due to interim issues, or lagging internet connection.
My personal recommendation is to opt for Zoho One Plan, as it is a complete suite.
I have been using Microsoft Excel for maintaining, recording, tracking data amongst our sales channels. It's now much easier to collate.
In addition, the contest feature is really exciting to boost healthy competition amongst users. I just wish it had a feature to include agents, as free users.
It kind of takes your team's sales targets and achievements and creates a cool game with rewards for winners and enhances healthy competition
it is difficult to get people on board and as excited as you may want them to. But once they do, it's a good investment
for companies that have a clear sales model, this could be a great tool to motivate your sales team and keep everyone up to date and always on the go.
we needed to have our sales team take responsibility for their targets and achievements without passing the buck to someone else all the time. It is still not exactly where we want it to be, but i think we are doing a much better job at our sales management process.
Ease of Use, breadth of functionality, approachability
Slow response rate, you get what you pay for, sometimes you do hit a limit.
Use the free trial and really put it through its paces. Make sure your needs are covered by the package. It might be worth spending more money on a service like BunchBall or Hoopla.
My goal in using ZM is to have a dashboarding utility to augment HubSpot and to gamify the sales process. It has increased our visibility and gamified the sales operation.
Zoho Motivator is an attractive easy to use tool that can help motivate positive behavior for sales and business activities. Setting up "games" is easy to do, implement, and track.
As with all of Zoho's add-on apps, I find it very confusing why they would not simply make this a feature of the core Zoho CRM software. To make the most use of motivator
Zoho needs to push these apps into the core of Zoho CRM.
Keeping people on task doing their job and remaining focused. The benefits are there but charging extra to have this capability in CRM is not interesting to us.

What do you like best?
I love that it's beautiful. zoho motivator connects to zoho crm and it's great. Plus the charts and graphs look beautiful! So awesome.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes it doesn't update. I have to click "sync" about once a week and then it works again. I don't know if it's me or what.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's soo awesome. I don't know why zoho doesn't promote it more. So zoho crm is great but it ONLY shows you what sales you have done. zoho motivators compares what you did to what your goal. So if you're making spreadsheets to try to score yourself you can now swap them out for zoho motivator
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I no longer have to use spreadsheets to compare what I aimed to do verses what I actually did. It's a great score board.
