Yes, Twist provides API.
I love how simple and clean the interface is while also being hearty enough to house several different areas for discussion and meetings.
Nothing! Twist has met all of my criteria for a good platform so far.
It’s a little smoother and nicer to look at than past clients
The standard notification settings are very well organized, I get notified for each new message, and even if I don't check the message in that moment, it still gets left "unread". It is very easy to keep track of what has been said in conversations since I last looked at the app. It somehow manages to work well for instant messaging as well as messaging that does not need to be addressed right away. I have not found an app before this one that has been able to do that.
Sometimes it's difficult to discern the purpose of having a separate channel vs just starting a new thread. We have channels set for certain topics but it almost seems not necessary when we can just start a new thread with the appropriate people.
Great app alternative to emailing
We have been able to more effectively communicate, with messages getting to the appropriate people in a reasonable amount of time. On other apps that we had used before, a message would be sent, and because of complicated notification settings, it would get lost in the shuffle. And in previous apps, if you wanted to see what you missed, you would have to do a lot of scrolling back.
With Twist, the app keeps track of what you've read and what you haven't, so you don't miss what needs to be read/
The way in which it proposes communication within work teams is different from the others and makes it ideal for remote teams.
Her focus is on reducing distractions and waiting for answers in real time
Is an electron app, a little big, ram expensive
The functionality of not receiving notifications is good, it is preferable that you define specific times to review your new messages
Setting the days and hours of rest is great to disconnect from work
The application for the cell phone helps you take it everywhere
It is an alternative to traditional mail, it has led me to a change of thinking about how to communicate with my coworkers, I no longer expect an immediate response to my messages, for example
Twist has helped me improve communication with my colleagues, its simple interface makes loading time fast compared to other pages that have the same function. Thanks to its integration with todoist I can keep an order in the messages that are sent and have priority like appointments, searches, etc.
since I started using twist has been improving its features so for now there is something that I dislike this application
an application with an organized messaging system and for fast communication without any interference
communication with colleagues who work remotely is easier and organized thanks to twist, so any questions after a meeting or information that needs clarification can be done quickly through this application
Twist is a tool that facilitates communication within the organization. The conversations are structured and there is no way to get lost in the topics. Its interface is intuitive and lightweight, it is an easy to set up.
I would say that chat is the core of Twist. This optimized for sharing files and manage communications successfully. In addition, the connection with a wide range of third-party software, enhances its functionality.
I do not find anything disgusting in this app, I like its effectiveness.
It's a cheaper and lighter alternative than Slack.Twist is a great option for small businesses.
Simplifies team collaboration and significantly improves the ability to respond to complex problems, since communication is fluid and effective. Moreover, it is improving project planning and distribution of tasks.
Everything is easier with Twist.
The best part of twist is that it has "sub-channels" under each main channel, so the flow of content won't be a big mass. You can have as many topics ("threads" as you want, so your team can have separate channels for every project (even under each client for example. That's a real innovation in team communication.
At the moment, integrations. They're working on that so the pool of integrations is growing.
Try it, it's free. Easy to setup and start to use as it's quite similar to Slack... with a twist. :
We work remotely, so communication was a real issue. With Twist, we could manage to have a good frame to plan, chat or discuss anything in an organized way.
Twist is based around threads which is great. It really helps keeps conversations focused and on task. . The interface is pleasant.
The lack of regular chat channel options. At the moment, integrations.
It helps team members who are working remotely and on a different time zone as other team members. We work remotely, so communication was a real issue.
What I like the best about Twist is how clean the UI is, it's beautiful, and the conversations are readable as well as the notifications not being annoying like in Slack.
What I dislike about Twist is that they don't have a lot of third part intergraded tools like, Github, Google Meets, Asana, etc.
Unfortunately, Twist does not have a lot of third party integrations as well as customization, however, the UI is beautiful along with the system of thread messaging, better organized than in Slack.
The problem that we where solving with Twist was, conversations were happening in Slack, however, there was a lot of notifications and we had to manually pause notifications, it was annoying with all our members, the UI was also not settling, there was a lot of happening at once.
I like how minimalist this app is, and how clean the UI appears. It is much easier to use than Stride
I love using GIFs, but it displays them in this weird box with all their metadata.
Great teamwork app, very clean and easy to use.
My team members and I are frequently separated by countries, and we have many clients. This app is great because it is not intrusive during times of intense focus or when we are busy
Great notifications.
Efficient team collaboration.
Intuitive interface.
Easy to share files.
Requires internet connection and sometimes it may hang.
yes i would recommend twist since it very convinient with good communication.
Great with creation of groups which helps with chatting with group members.
Good for efficient communication and it easy to share files thus very convinient.
Great for direct messages with the users.
Notifications ensure immediate feedback.
