Telnyx provides a platform and API with carrier-grade voice, data and messaging capabilities. By using its developer-friendly APIs, it seeks to transform the client business communications. It offers three products, the first being Elastic SIP Trunking, which targets crystal clear calls with low latency, jitter, and packet loss. There's number search, automated porting, number tagging, and the platform built for efficient and fast communications. It offers security using end-to-end TLS and SRTP/ZRTP encryption and boasts very high availability. With Programmable SMS users can send and receive texts globally with the SMS API built for reliable, enterprise-grade messaging and gain actionable insights with detailed records in real-time. Call Control lets users build a custom calling experience. Telnyx Call Control lets you make, manage and route calls globally to any device — phone, app or browser. Its voice API provides the flexibility to build calling experiences into other applications.

"Great Service, Always improving!"

What do you like best?

We have been with Telnyx for a couple of years, and the amount of improvements in that time frame has been remarkable. Porting is now best in class, and the API usability and functionality is great. The best part is the team behind the software, they are responsive and actually listen and respond to requests.

What do you dislike?

Initially, the porting process was a pain point, but they have turned that into a strength

"Great SIP Provider!"

What do you like best?

We discovered Telnyx in the vendor hall at a conference a few years ago. After chatting with them at the conference and doing some testing, we decided to add them as one of our carriers. We've been very happy with the service overall and it's great to have a vendor who listens to feature requests and suggestions and provides great feedback on new features coming down the pipeline. They reach out proactively to let us know about new features being added and appear to value our feedback during discussions on those features. They regularly add new features to the portal which makes number and feature management easy.

They've made great strides on the porting front while we've used them and are always willing to go the extra mile to help with issues. The live chat option for support is great and any issues are quickly resolved and we receive a breakdown of the cause of any issue and the steps taken to solve the issue and hopefully prevent it from happening again.

We also truly appreciate our account manager and the porting manager. They are actively involved and reach out regularly!

What do you dislike?

When purchasing new DIDs, there's not currently an option to export those lists. It would be great if that could be added at some point and I'm sure it will be based on Telnyx's track record of adding new features to the management portal.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We appreciate Telnyx's proactive contact on new features and desire to gain more of our business and their ability and willingness to help us solve issues on the porting and support front. That separates them from other partners who do not appear to have the same level of interest in gaining our business and supporting our growth.

"Great Provider for all things Communication!"

What do you like best?

Telnyx works around the clock, and is always available to help when needed.

What do you dislike?

Telnyx is the middle-man between the end user and the phone companies. Sometimes we wish we could be in direct contact with the phone companies, but Telnyx still does an outstanding job connecting the two ends.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely use Telnyx if you're looking for top quality customer service, price advantages and good connectivity!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're communicating with voters via cell phone through texting, which has significantly higher deliverability rates than traditional automated calls or emails.

"Great Services"

What do you like best?

Telnyx portal is awesome, SIP trunking and VOIP services are very good.

Transparent pricing module and chat support.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing to dislike in telnyx.

Currently, I am using telnyx for outbound and Inbound calling and its working very well.

"A flexible and agile vendor that provides real and measurable business benefit "

What do you like best?

The ability to instantly provision phone numbers anywhere in the USA and Canada, helping us boost our local presence. Being able to turn up toll free numbers for our marketing team instantly (as opposed to 10+ days with a "traditional" telco/carrier).

Telnyx continues to innovate, offering customer-centric and focused features that make my life managing our telecom infrastructure a lot easier. Definitely a fan, so much so that I also recommend Telnyx to customers of my consultancy practice who are making the switch to VoIP.

What do you dislike?

We've had a couple of times where calls wouldn't go through correctly, usually due to an upstream carrier or routing issue. A quick chat with support got the issue resolved fairly quickly. Other than that, there really isn't a lot to dislike!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

By having local numbers in the markets we are active, we enhance the reputation of our franchise partners as trusted local partners. We've cut telecom costs compared to the rates charged by our legacy telco provider and are able to analyze costs down to the individual number level using the CDR export functionality.
