Telnyx provides a platform and API with carrier-grade voice, data and messaging capabilities. By using its developer-friendly APIs, it seeks to transform the client business communications. It offers three products, the first being Elastic SIP Trunking, which targets crystal clear calls with low latency, jitter, and packet loss. There's number search, automated porting, number tagging, and the platform built for efficient and fast communications. It offers security using end-to-end TLS and SRTP/ZRTP encryption and boasts very high availability. With Programmable SMS users can send and receive texts globally with the SMS API built for reliable, enterprise-grade messaging and gain actionable insights with detailed records in real-time. Call Control lets users build a custom calling experience. Telnyx Call Control lets you make, manage and route calls globally to any device — phone, app or browser. Its voice API provides the flexibility to build calling experiences into other applications.

"A flexible and agile vendor that provides real and measurable business benefit "

What do you like best?

The ability to instantly provision phone numbers anywhere in the USA and Canada, helping us boost our local presence. Being able to turn up toll free numbers for our marketing team instantly (as opposed to 10+ days with a "traditional" telco/carrier).

Telnyx continues to innovate, offering customer-centric and focused features that make my life managing our telecom infrastructure a lot easier. Definitely a fan, so much so that I also recommend Telnyx to customers of my consultancy practice who are making the switch to VoIP.

What do you dislike?

We've had a couple of times where calls wouldn't go through correctly, usually due to an upstream carrier or routing issue. A quick chat with support got the issue resolved fairly quickly. Other than that, there really isn't a lot to dislike!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

By having local numbers in the markets we are active, we enhance the reputation of our franchise partners as trusted local partners. We've cut telecom costs compared to the rates charged by our legacy telco provider and are able to analyze costs down to the individual number level using the CDR export functionality.

"Great experience so far"

What do you like best?

i like the chat feature and the fact that my contacts Paul and Colleen make themselves available to assist whenever needed. i also like that 90% of the time that we get the date that is requested as well.

What do you dislike?

Not allowed to make same day cancellations like we are with other carriers.

"Fantastic support"

What do you like best?

The ability to get a quick response from the chat or email feature. Always following up on tickets as well.

What do you dislike?

Not much for me to complain about at the moment besides not having an app for phones

"Excellent Customer Service"

What do you like best?

Telnyx offers a reliable service, they are customer focused and extremely helpful when and if we need their assistance with troubleshooting an issue. I love the portal and how easy it is to spin up a new trunk, setup a fail over or make changes to DID features. The porting and purchasing of DIDs process is pretty straight forward and easy to use.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing I dislike about Telnyx.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The tools and level of self service provided through Telnyx's portal are a great time saver and helped me a lot when testing a new solution or a new product.

The DID tagging option helped us manage our DID inventory in an efficient manner.

"Great experience with Telnyx"

What do you like best?

I like how responsive my account manager and tech support are when I have questions or issues.

What do you dislike?

I think sometimes there is a quality of service issue since traffic is going over public internet and can't guarantee CoS or QoS.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Able to manage all our locations from one portal and easily add new numbers, SIP trunks, etc. There is also a cost savings.

"Best in the business"

What do you like best?

Colleen Drew at Telnyx is one of the most responsive professionals we have ever had the pleasure of working with. The reliability and interface to telnyx is second to none. Would recommend them in any situation.

What do you dislike?

The porting process has room for improvement, but this is not a limitation of Telnyx, its a limitation of the VoIP industry in general. Out of all the providers we have used as a re seller Telnyx is FAR better than any of the competitors.

A much easier partner to work with then previous ones.

What do you like best?

your support and rates for US/CA DIDs and tollfree

What do you dislike?

The international DIDs and TollFree numbers are VERY expensive compared to your competitors (If they exist)

Recommendations to others considering the product:

create unlimited PLans for outbound/channel

interconnect with international carriers to offer better international DIDs and international tollfree numbers

"Incredible Company"

What do you like best?

Just a great company. Tech support is probably some of the best I've ever experienced. They get it.

What do you dislike?

Nothing at all to dislike. I can't really think of anything right now.

I would give them a try.

Took a 3 person law small law firm that was paying over 200.00 a month for phone services down to around 4.00 a month with Telnyx.

"Game changer"

What do you like best?

Availability of support personnel, ease of setup and configuration.

What do you dislike?

Somewhat clunky dashboard, but getting better.
