What do you like best?
It's simple to use, and it makes my job easier! I'm able to create a workflow and then launch it. It's relatively easy once you learn how to build workflows. Then, it's easy on the end-users to save their documents into Laserfiche and the files get routed to where they need to go. Also, there are a lot of learning materials available, the Laserfiche Empower conference, and online certification classes that anyone can take. Occassionally there will be user workshops in our area where we can send users to learn even more. So the obstacles to learning more and expanding the use of our system are widely available.
What do you dislike?
Occasionally a process will stop performing the way it is supposed to. But when this happens, we use our tech support to get a resolution to the issue, usually within 24 hours, and then we are back up and running again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Laserfiche will take you from an antiquated way of doing things to the most sophisticated way of doing things. You'll transform the way your office runs. But, it won't be scary or difficult to achieve this change. And when you're done, you'll look back and wonder how you operated before you had Laserfiche.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Process automation, and gathering information from others all into one place. We have realized a lot of time savings, as well as much less of a need to route files and folders around the office manually by hand. And, nothing gets misplaced or lost because it is all in the system.
