About Gumlet

Gumlet is an image tool that optimizes images according to the size and quality that users require. After linking the image source to Gumlet, a smart Javascript module automatically selects the most optimal image size according to the user’s screen. With fast-loading images, users can improve their SEO efforts along with the load time of their websites. This gives developers freedom from tedious maintenance tasks of managing varied image sizes such as thumbnails, website images, mobile app images, and more. Compressed and optimized image delivery results in lower bandwidth usage, resulting in up to 40% in CDN bills. The setup is also fairly simple: (1) Let Gumlet know about where the source images are stored. Once that is set up, all images will be fetched from the source. (2) Add gumlet.js to tag of the website. (3) Replace src with data-src. Once set up, optimized images are served automatically.
