Here`s a list of the best alternatives for AWS Cloud9:
Yes, AWS Cloud9 provides API.
Mostly I like there on demand instances and storage services.
Its interface needs to be more effective .
Highly recommended for cloud computing
Mostly used for hosting website with low latency and for storing data in the form of objects.
Its user interface is very easy, provides standard look and feel as compared to other conventional development tools. All the plugins, tools, consoles are easy to navigate and its quick start based on ec2 instance.
its hard to change customize the theme colors.
I would highly recommend to other developers to use AWS Cloud9 for the development on cloud.
I am developing, automating AWS resources via cloud9 using python and cloudformation. I realized, how easy is to do intercommunication between aws accounts by just utilizing credentials on terminal.
It is a cloud based integrated development environment which can be accessed by a browser. This makes it stand on the top of all the other IDE.
Since it is cloud Integrated, we need to have internet whenever we have to use it. We can work offline.
Use AWS cloud9 as IDE using a browser only. Try it once .
Me and my team is simultaneously working on a software development using this cloud9.
It provides the developer seamless platform to develop scripts especially on Python for large and integrated AWS services.
I think the UI could be more attractive.
The main problem is to have an interface where the developer feels to make a transition in the coding style, but with Cloud9, this problem is not there.
The platform provides a great environment to code without making the developer feel any difference with other IDEs as on-premise.
What are the best aspects of this product?
There are virtually zero installations needed to run this program. And even then, the features are still as robust as those solutions that require you to download their solution into your server. It has pretty solid integrations with other AWS solutions too.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It's quite difficult to fully understand the workings of this program. However, with time and patience, one can easily master it.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We use this program for some of our smaller and easier to accomplish tasks. This is perfect for the simple ones that we need to get done right away.

What are the best aspects of this product?
There is a myriad of benefits that I've enjoyed with Cloud9. First of all, I think that this works best online. I don't have to download anything on my server. Plus, it can work with just about any programming language too--Python, Java, C, you name it. And, again, because it is online, anyone can access their account and make progress to their work on the go. I can use just about any device too--a laptop or even my phone. I don't have to be tied down to a desk just to get to work. There are also a plethora of shortcuts available to make your coding life a lot easier. Finally, the user always has the option to use the free version. However, if you're serious about coding as much as I am, I'd say that it's still worth paying for the premium.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It has a free option, but for you to enjoy the full suite of services, you'd have to pay a premium. Plus, there's no auto-run button too. It's a tedious three-step process just to get this solution to run.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I can create and run codes for creating programs even while I'm on my morning commute. This way, no eureka moment ever gets wasted. I like that I don't have to install anything on my devices too. This lets me work remotely and even reach out to colleagues to ask for their advice without any problem.

AWS Cloud9 has support for a wide variety of programming languages meaning that the user does not need to download many different IDEs and deal with many compilers. Organizing between languages is very easy and can be done by using typical Windows/Mac method or by using the bash line.
Bash line is built into Cloud9, making the software even more convenient. Rather than installing a Unix based operating system or Windows 10, users can use the bash line from any OS. This becomes very useful for programmers that may be using an iPad or ChromeOS.
Perhaps my favourite feature of Cloud9 is cloud functionality. All programs are saved in the cloud, meaning that I can access them from whichever device I want to. When I'm outside, I tend to code using my Mac. At home, however, I vastly prefer using my desktop. It's incredibly nice that I don't need to use a service such as GitHub or use a flash drive to transfer files back and forth and deal with compatibility issues. This makes my workflow cleaner and simpler. It makes me more productive too.
Cloud9's interface is very clean and simple to use. This is, of course, subjective, but I think most people would agree. Coming from IDEs such as PyCharm and Visual Studio, it was refreshing to see such a simplistic design in the coding environment.
I'm not a big fan of the tab management of Cloud9. When you exit out of Cloud9 and re-open the IDE, tabs that were previously open are opened. Over time, when many files have been used, the tab manager becomes cluttered with unnecessary programs. I would prefer an empty tab manager on each use of the IDE.
Make sure to back up programs often on Cloud9. I have heard of people losing their environments due to problems with the service. It should be noted, though, that I've only heard of this happening once.
I use Cloud9 to program in C++. When I first started using Cloud9, I was relatively inexperienced with C++. Right from the beginning, one of the major benefits I have noticed was not needing to download an IDE and deal with different settings. Cloud9 made it easy to just jump into coding while still keeping me organized.
In the PaS (Platform as a Service)they offer features which matches the IaS (Infrastructure as a Service ), which is just found in the AWS cloud. Rich with features.
Not that simple to learn it amd use it as other cloud services. But its advantage overcomes this disadvantage
Looking for the best and better features.. Go for AWS cloud
We used it for data storage which is used for analytics
What are the best aspects of this product?
I'm glad that AWS decided to roll this tool out. Cloud9 is very intuitive and user-friendly. The environment can be easily configured--I can set the codes to the color of my liking. It has a wide range of programming languages too. As wide as its range of services and tools are, I still think that this is an economical choice.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I don't think I have anything negative to say about this program. However, I would suggest that they introduce all of its integrations at the get-go so that we can fully utilize it right away.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
At work, we're able to conceptualize and develop software products with the help of this program. Because it is heavily cloud-based, we can quickly run and integrate various projects into it.
