Here`s a list of the best alternatives for Adobe Connect:
Yes, Adobe Connect provides API.
It is stable (especially on PC) and the platform is geared toward the class room management
The interface looks a bit outdated and more pods are welcomed :D
Teaching virtually to college students who can not be in class due to covid-19
Ease of product use. Sharing pods. Session recording
I would like function to export the Participants list to capture class attendance
It is ether Adobe Connect, Zoom, or Google Meet. Only Adobe Connect provides the scaffolding and infrastructure to be useful in a busy work setting.
Running classes remotely. Achieving a high level of connection with learners.
I love how user friendly it is, I have used adobe connect for 4 years. I have trained technicians to support specialist with offerings we provide in APHIS.
I don't like the feedback when participants log in and use computer audio and call using teleconference then need to turn off the speaker from adobe.
It is very user friendly and has great features like screen share, polls, chat box, notes, raise hand function, and much more.
I like the poll features , notes, and chat box. Only thing I would like to be resolved is being able to control breakout rooms like Zoom.
can sustain alot of people in the same rooms, plus breakout rooms are alot usefull, all the pods available in the program are helpfull to motivate our sales teams like the door bell for exemple each time an operator sells he has the right to knock on the door bell so everyone can know he made a sale, sharing pod is also very usefull if we want to share a powerpoint with the team about a new product for exemple
sometimes the program lags and could have more add ons
Also, sometimes when we start breakout rooms we are able to hear whatever is happening on the breakout room and thats not good, we create a breakout room for a reason and with this BUG we aren't able to do it the way we wanted to
I recommend using adobe connect to everyone because it is a simple and at the same time powerfull tool to use if you have learge teams or meeting to do, see it for yourselfs you wont regret it if you use it the right way
I can get track on my team, control the sales, help out team members have meeting in adobe doing, its also usefull to do dynamics in adobe with the share pod for exemple, we are having a dynaimic right now with a train and numbers each time an operator does a sale he gets the right to pick the number and the number may have a prize or not
I enjoy the wide variety of pod choices to fit my needs.
I do not have any dislikes other than when I upload a PDF it often distorts the view.
Adobe Connect is the only format that I have used for a virtual classroom. I have not wanted to use anything else thus far.
With Adobe Connect, I am able to meet with my students and their parents in a format that is friendly and easy to use. Many are intimated at first, but even after one use they welcome the opportunity to meet using Adobe Connect.
We like the environment, presenter's view, Q&A, Poll, different layouts, whiteboard and drawing tools, controcl of presentation inside the application, ability to get help from the technical support team.
Not able to remove participants who behave improperly. We need to do this on many occasions. Login using emails would help us.
Great product for web-conferencing
Online classes for students we cannot run face to face
An excellent software for doing meetings, virtual seminars, and that offers plethora of options to choose from during meetings such as participating in quizzes, discussions, polls, forums etc. The sound and video quality offered are great and the recording is excellent as well.
A bit pricey. Other than that the options offered and the solutions offered are worth the price.
Bring down price a bit and you are good to go
Daily audio and video conferencing and team virtual trainings are delivered by Adobe Connect in our organizations. I have seen over 200 participants joining the stream of virtual meetings and the quality offered has been exceptional.
I like the features. I like the enhanced host options. I also like the breakout rooms and the room layouts have a lot of options. It has helped us to collaborate as a team a lot more. We are able to have meetings anywhere and adobe is compatible with most devices. user-friendly meeting software for business. I like the recording functionality. I think it is excellent. The participants are able to interact with a recorded session which is awesome. Its almost like they are in a live meeting. I also like the live polling option. It a great feature that can be used to check for team participation.
I don't like the lag that can happen due to many people in the room. and I don't like the fact that some browsers are not compatible. I don't like the price. I think it is too expensive. I wish adobe connect was not so dependent on internet bandwidth. the adobe app needs some improvement. other than did everything is awesome.
adobe connect allow you to upload most multimedia and document types. I recommend that you try adobe for a few months before deciding that you don't like it. adobe connect has an awesome tech support team. and they are friendly. so I would definitely recommend that you at least try the product for a few months before deciding if you like it or not. I know it took me 4 months to decide.
It has helped us to collaborate as a team a lot more. We are able to have meetings anywhere. Being able to meet anywhere has been a great benefit to us.
I love that I can go into a conference if I have questions or if I need something or even for training. I love that there is a chat box so that you can talk with my coworkers and utilize all the different options like raising your hand, being away from the computer, etc. It was really a great tool to utilize when having meetings or trainings.
There isn't anything that i can say that I dislike. I suppose the only thing I can think of is that I wish it would remember our sign in names. Even after so many years, I still don't have anything that I dislike about Adobe Connect.
Problems have been solved with getting immediate access to people that can help us, train us and over all make transitions smoother. Also gives us the options to talk to each other and notify if we are away from our desks without interrupting.
Adobe Connect is a strong and intelligent video conferencing software perfect for workshops, conferences or any other activity that aims to train staff, Adobe Connect has a highly customizable platform that greatly enhances its functionality, has curriculum design elements that are quite useful for education, also has unlimited video feeds that I think is fantastic finally has an option to manage the design of the screen for viewers this is a very innovative option by this software.
Adobe Connect is a fairly complete software and with a wide range of features however it makes the platform too loaded decreasing its functionality which is not easy in that sense it also makes the software very difficult to learn so it has a very high learning curve and makes the adoption of software by users difficult compared to other programs Adobe Connect can be a little expensive and finally it does not have dial out numbers outside the third party options.
I would recommend Adobe Connect mainly as a tool to dictate web weeklies in which you can project images, have an excellent audio as a drill and add a large number of participants, I would also recommend that they investigate a little more in the plans that Adobe Connect offers because for some companies I consider that the cost of the software can be very high especially for small companies and finally also take into account the high learning curve that Adobe Connect has.
My organization has made use of Adobe Connect for a variety of purposes, most notably web seminars and meetings when we meet remotely. In relation to the seminars has been extremely useful because it allows to have a control of the slides while discussing the project in real time and has a chat box to ask questions or establish contacts many times we also use it to record the same seminars and send them by mail to the different participants, the truth is that my organization has trained a large number of people in different skills using Adobe Connect as a video conferencing platform.
