Employee self-service is a big plus, because staff can update their details without contacting HR, which saves our team time. Staff can update their own details through self-service, so records stay current without HR having to process routine changes. Keeping employee data and payroll in one system helps ensure the information is accurate and consistent. The reporting gives me direct access to the data I need, which speeds up decisions and saves time chasing information from other teams.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?Workday HCM is an application that is very easy to navigate between all of the task bars whether it be clock in and out, time off, pay stubs, messages, things like that.What do you dislike about Workday HCM?One of the things I don’t like about Workday HCM is when you first set up your password, it has to be exact. Another issue was the size of the font of the paystubs.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?Workday HCM is beneficial because instead of having 4 different apps, now I just use 1 app for those same 4 tasks. Which is nice because it’s all under 1 app, 1 password.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?Being able to see accumulated vacation time pay stubs my time off request scheduling it's all in one app and it works really well for me my company went to workday two years ago and everyone loves it.What do you dislike about Workday HCM?It seems like there's a delay for time off request pay stubs do not load until the afternoon of the day to which they were direct deposit my boss doesn't get requests instantly which sometimes means time doesn't get approved.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?Workday keeps me from needing three separate apps to keep up with pay stubs time off vacation time write ups it's like a digital file of time with my job so saves me from multiple unnecessary apps

What do you like best about Workday HCM?I like how Workday HCM keeps everything in one place and makes it easy to use. It saves me time by providing quick access to PTO, benefits, payroll information, performance reviews, and personal information without having to contact HR. I appreciate being able to submit requests and track approvals directly in Workday. The ability to view the work organization chart helps me identify who to reach out to for help. Overall, Workday HCM helps manage HR tasks more efficiently by keeping approvals and information organized, allowing me to focus on other things.What do you dislike about Workday HCM?The interface of Workday HCM can be a bit of a pain sometimes. Navigating through it isn't always straightforward, and it takes a few extra steps to find specific items, especially if they're not something I use all the time. The search function isn't the best either; it could definitely be more intuitive and give more relevant results. Adding a feature where you could talk to a mic instead of typing could make searches a lot easier. Plus, simplifying some of the menus and workflows would really help make the whole thing faster and easier to use.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?I find Workday HCM simplifies managing HR tasks by centralizing everything like personal info, payroll, and PTO requests in one place. It saves time, organizes approvals, and makes routine tasks manageable without HR interaction.

I use it to review details like my pay, benefits, and time-off balance, and to handle common requests without having to navigate multiple systems. Having everything available when I need it saves me time and makes HR processes feel more organized, straightforward, and convenient.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?I really like the push notifications from Workday HCM as they remind me of tasks that are due. The link to learning modules is also really useful because it allows me to ensure all required training is up to date. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be easy.What do you dislike about Workday HCM?Sometimes the menus in Workday HCM aren’t as intuitive as they could be, especially when navigating from the home page into talent and goal management.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?Workday HCM helps by tracking and providing regular updates on employee goals. I also appreciate the push notifications that remind me of tasks due and the useful link to learning modules for keeping training up to date.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?I like that Workday HCM is a user friendly, mobile first application, making HR access convenient and readily available for our workforce. The capability to quickly view an accurate total headcount in minutes is incredibly useful, and I appreciate how it empowers employees by letting them view and maintain their personal information on their own. The eLearning feature that aligns with career goals and development plans is another standout, as is the flexibility to integrate it with our physical security badging systems, payroll systems in 37 countries, ServiceNow, and benefit vendors. For recruiting, utilizing SMS texting and WhatsApp helps reach candidates efficiently without being tethered to a phone.What do you dislike about Workday HCM?While the capabilities for Succession Planning have come a great way forward, there needs to be a continued focus on enhancements. It would be great to better score or rank succession candidates based on skills to potential future job profiles.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?Workday HCM lets us quickly see total headcount, enables employees to manage their info independently, and empowers career growth with eLearning tied to goals and plans. It's user-friendly, mobile-first, and streamlines recruiting communication.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?All the modules are laid out in a way that makes navigation faster once you know what you’re looking for. Since most of the functionalities are available within the system itself, it’s convenient because you don’t have to rely on other systems.What do you dislike about Workday HCM?If you are a new user, navigating the system can be challenging, and finding what you need using the AI can be difficult. Sometimes, even searching for something similar to what you need doesn’t yield the expected results. For instance, if you search for “timesheet,” you won’t see the option to enter your time unless you specifically search for “Enter your time.” Additionally, when searching for a particular part of your profile, the results may only show your profile instead of providing options to navigate to that page from other sections. Although training is available, these specific nuances are not addressed.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?Our initial system was much more manual when it came to running payroll, entering time, and looking up information for a specific employee. With Workday, that information is presented in a more accessible way, which makes it easier to find what I need.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?Workday HCM as a single system of record for everything related to employee data is the best system out there not just when it comes to the ease of use but also from a perspective of offering platform extensibility, integration capabilities and it's partner ecosystem reach.What do you dislike about Workday HCM?Workday’s rigor around configured business processes is a real strength for compliance, but it can also push teams toward manual steps at times when a process doesn’t fit the out-of-the-box model cleanly.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?Global growth usually forces building/buying a local HR stack per country but Workday solves this by staying as the master system while delegating local payroll/time nuance to specialist processors.

I was new to workday when I started using it 9 years ago and feel it is configured to learn quicklyWhat do you dislike about Workday HCM?Differences between Task names for various tasks such as Configure, Maintain, Edit, etc. This can make trying to self-navigate more difficult for users trying to expand their knowledge without implementation partners or consultants.What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?Workday has allowed us substantial flexibility to eliminate paper processes and turn them into workflows, customize existing business processes and tools to make seamless experiences for our associates, and confidently automate sensitive transactions such as compensation and performance rating calculation.
