Versatile, User-Friendly Tool for Wireframes, Diagrams, and More

What do you like best about Whimsical?

I like how versatile it is you can create wireframes, do brainstorming, build org charts, make diagrams, and much more. It’s user-friendly, and the AI feature is really helpful too. Customer service is top notch as well

What do you dislike about Whimsical?

I wish the AI portion for wireframe and prototype were a bit more like Figma, and required less manual work but for the price, I really can’t complain.

What problems is Whimsical solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were using Vizio, and it was very confusing for people to use, plus it took a long time. We were also using Miro for brainstorming, so the problem Whimsical helped solve was reducing licensing payments and not having to rely on multiple tools to get our work done. Now our team can create prototypes, run presentations directly from Whimsical, and give people access to comment all at once.

Apart from being best free option in its category it has lots of templates to start with.

Whimsical doesn't have a mobile app and isn't working on mobile browsers.

Best tool for mind map and structured thinking

What do you like best about Whimsical?

Mind map are very quick and smooth. The feature to encrypt and decrypt multiple layers are of its kind. Never seen in any other product. Very good.

What do you dislike about Whimsical?

It's like a blank canvas you can use multiple elements like text, mind maps, and charts to brainstorm and structure your thoughts. Being a PM it's was very helpful for me during the brainstorming of large product ideas.

Recommendations to others considering Whimsical?

Nothing to dislike. It's a great product. I have been using it for more than 4 years now.

Whimsical offers a black canvas to structure your thoughts. This is a product for PRDs, team brainstorming and mind map. The build in theme are great helper. It offers to present everybody say in team and shared colloboration.
