No, Statsbot does not provide API.
While they are a small start up, they listen to users when we need important features. Those often end up helping other statsbots clients but it's great that they are able to prioritize these critical tools.
The community is still small, so it can be hard to find others in the same boat (think stack overflow style. That being said, the team is super responsive to issues so it's usually easy to get things sorted out.
Internal tools and dashboards for non-technical folks.
Effortless connection to Mixpanel, Salesforce, SQL servers and more. Reports are extremely easy to build through the Insights area and we're able to schedule reports and add them onto a shared dashboard in about 30 seconds. Finally, and most importantly, the customer service is outstanding.
Upon renaming a measure in a schema, you may end up with a broken saved report. A little prompt or automated rename behind the scene would be great.
If you're unsure why or how Statsbot can benefit you and your entire business, contact the customer service and run-through what you currently have and what you're looking for. They can more than likely have you up and running in no-time. The SQL integration is advanced but they've made it extremely easy to configure and hook up to reports straight from your database. The docs are extremely well put-together and the learning curve is not steep at all. The product has adopted a very modern approach (it uses ES6 and the editor is beautiful.
Real-time operational analytics for a business as a whole and all of our clients (B2B. The dashboards let us configure custom reports for each of our clients and means we're able to provide a reporting and business intelligence dashboard to clients. The goals functionality lets managers configure their own targets for their own clients (which is awesome whilst also allowing any non-techy members of the team pull together whatever reports they can imagine. I'd highly recommend to anyone, the time saved and the complexity removed is incredible.
Platform is easy to understand and the team is very helpful. As an agency that doesn't have a full-fledged data science team, having access to their expertise is critical to our success.
Platform is still young and has some minor problems in terms of dashboard display and complexity. It's also tough for non-tech savvy folks to do the set up (not just plug and go, but their team helps fill the gaps.

Scheduled and on-demand Slack reports are great to keep our entire team on track. Statsbot's support team is very responsive and helpful. It's great customer experience with them!
It's not that easy to build some tricky custom KPIs, but there are no other tools in similar price range allow it either.
Statsbot is great with high-level reports as well as with very details drill downs. Their AI goal estimation is quite accurate. We save a lot of time for generating tonnes of different reports directly from our DB.

It's not overly simplistic like Mixpanel (which we no longer use, but still easy to use and learn. If you're looking for a big data reporting tool, look no further than these guys!
Their documentation is somewhat limited but they happily provide answers within minutes. Some features are missing but everything I want is in their 3-month pipeline.
Chat to them and they will help you get setup on their product. The engineering cost-saving of that alone is worth their annual fee! Their team is funny, great to chat to and always around to answer questions!
Within 3 weeks of using the product we found an insight that paid for their entire year's fees. We're able to query our redshift database using Natural Language via Slack. We have unlimited dashboards, scheduled reports (to Slack, Slack alerts when data hits outliers, etc. My staff are able to get insights via Slack without having to ask Devs or BIs.
