Is Resurfy a downloader?

No. Resurfy doesn’t download videos or images. It sets the posts you save into structured, searchable cards, and every card links back to the original post on Instagram.

Does Instagram notify anyone when I save a post?

No. Saving is private, and Instagram sends no notification to the creator. How saves, privacy and visibility actually work is covered in are Instagram saves private?

What happens if the original reel is deleted?

The card survives. Resurfy keeps what it set from the post — the steps, notes and transcript — but the link back to Instagram stops working once a post is gone. An export you own is planned to keep a copy outside the app.

How do saves get into Resurfy?

You share them yourself. From any reel or post, open Instagram’s share sheet and pick Resurfy. Nothing is imported automatically, and Resurfy never reads your feed.
