I used PlanningPME in my global company for over 13 years. I found PlanningPME very flexible and efficient for planning over 250 resources globally. The drag and drop features and the ability rename tasks and unavailabilities and color code them to make sense for your own business was great. I also like the templates available for different sectors of business. They make is easy to schedule resources and then see easily who is available for work. I love that it has the ability to create skills and assign them to resources and then search for availability of resources with that skill set.additionally being able to sync with Outlook calendars of our technicians and automatically send email notificstions to planned resources when events were created or changed was a great time saver.

One of the best features is that the pricing of PlanningPME is very competitive whether you have a small business or a large global enterprise.

I find this scheduling application to be very functional in all the right places. It's easy to narrow down to the day and hour with very few mouse clicks (something I find lacking in most of the other scheduling applications/platforms). Adding and removing staff is easy and efficient too. All of this is important for me because I have to keep track of many employees working different shifts. Honestly, this application makes the whole process less tedious. Most of the essential features are accessable on the main page, yet nothing feels cluttered. If there is one thing that could be improved (unless it is already implemented and I am just not able to find it), it would be the ability to use colors to group things.

While it's very easy to get full access to any staff member on the main page, it can be a bit confusing to figure out how to close the "staff" pop-up window. This is because the "save" and "cancel" buttons are hidden, due to the pop-up window being longer than the height of my monitor, so I had to search around to figure out how to exit from this window. But really, this is a minor issue.

Due to the limited amount of time I have in the office, I must be able to manage all aspects of my staff's schedules without wasting too much time. PlanningPME solves this by making almost everything accessible from the main page.

This is paid solution. It is good solution if you have daily task to your engineer.

Prior to this we were maintaining excel sheets for planning which was time consuming.With the help of PlanningPME you can plan, reschedule the task easily via mobile phone only.
